Aveline eyes slowly opened to meet stark, almost lifeless darkness.
She wiped her face with the back of her hand as if something was on it, blocking her vision.
However, she opened her eyes again, and still couldn't see.
"Where am I?" She wondered out loud, as she began to straighten into a sitting position.
The van moved over a speed bump, and her body jerked in reaction. Immediately, it hit her that she was in a moving vehicle.
Her fingers went to the side of her head, and she rubbed it gently, trying to remember why she was in a moving vehicle that was this dark.
"Nadia-Reese-artroom-Atlas!" She gasped as all of her memories came rushing in violently.
The last thing she remembered was passing out on the garden ground.
Maybe someone had found her, she thought. Maybe they found her and were possibly taking her to the hospital?
"Hello?" She called out.
Her voice echoed all around, returning back to her ears.
