"Okay, we have to sneak in through the back so no one sees you. Just in case you're wondering why we're taking this route," Freya said, as she led Aveline into the mansion.
"I don't mind it at all. As long as I get to marry Atlas. I saw an upsetting news online on Seth's phone."
"Really? What did you see?"
"That Faiza might be marrying Atlas."
"Oh hell no! That's not ha–" she paused, and moved back on hearing footsteps approach them.
With her head, she gestured for Aveline to move behind a pillar.
Aveline swiftly did as she was told, even holding her breath too.
Freya pressed her back against the wall to shield her own self, but her ears opened wide when she heard a name mentioned.
"I can't believe Faiza has me stressed this morning. Thank God she's finally going to have her way," Yasmin said.
"Well, aunt Nadia has always loved her. It's only fitting that she would negotiate with Atlas to marry her instead, now that Aveline is missing."
