Chapter 111 - THE MORNING AFTER II

Aveline laid still on Atlas' chest, as her thoughts jumped through hoops to figure out a way out of the web.

She was scared.

Scared that he would wake up forgetting he pulled her down. And then accuse her of breaking a rule.

Although, she wasn't sure yet which of the rules she was breaking, laying flat on his body.

We need to move now.

The same voices in her head band together in rare agreement.

One, two three—-

She began to lift her body up slowly. As much as she wanted to run away, she didn't want to do anything to jeopardize his sleep.

Aveline successfully lifted her upper parts, and then moved on to her lower parts.

She had barely lifted a leg, when a hand grappled her back, and pulled her down again.

"Stay."

The words came as a whisper, causing her heart to quake.

Before she could recover enough to make sense of what was happening, she heard a sound that signalled he was fully asleep now.
