Chase Green raised a hand, and a waiter walked over to add some wine bottles to the table which already had water and glasses in it.
"Care for some?" Chase questioned Aveline.
"I don't want anything else from you. Just the truth."
Her phone rang again. This time, she pulled it out of her purse, and her breath caught when she saw it was Atlas calling.
Regardless of her personal desire to answer the call of the man she loved, there was a more pressing issue to attend to.

"Are you sure that's a smart thing to do?" Chase questioned as he sipped from his wine.
"I don't think my life is any of your business. Now tell me what you brought me here to tell me."
He nodded.
"Let's start from the beginning. Meredith leaving hit me hard."
"I remember how hard it was. I guess you also think that justified you harassing not just her but also my family every chance you got."
