Chapter 200 - NUMBING NEWS

"Why did you choose such a cheap restaurant, Atlas?" Nadia Sinclair with nose scrunched up, questioned as they walked into the VIP section of a restaurant.

"I told you to come to my house, but you refused. This was the only reservation I could get on such short notice."

She rolled her eyes, as they took their seats.

"I heavily doubt that. We could have gone to the Sinclair restaurant?"

"Sure, but I didn't feel like driving all the way to Sin city. Anyway, we're here already. What do you want?"

"Patience my son. Where did your patience go?"

The waiter returned to take their order.

"Just wine for me," Atlas said.

Nadia looked up questioningly at him. He evaded her gaze.

"I'll take the same thing." She closed the menu and turned to her son.

"What?"

"You're angry at me," she replied after the waiter left.

"I can't deny I am. But it's mostly disappointment. There are certain things I do not expect from you."
