"Wait, we're really not going to go in and see officer Ben?" Meredith questioned as she walked out of the hospital with Aveline.
"I already said it before. You can go search for him if you want to. I don't personally care to do so. Now we have a few minutes to get into the car so Zack and drive off before the crazy press returns."
"I don't feel right not going to see him, Ave. He almost killed himself."
"People do crazy things every day. He won't be the first."
"Ave!" She called her out, shocked by her stubbornness.
"Meredith, I'm tired, okay? You heard the doctor. I need to rest more. I'm not going to—"
"Hello Aveline."
She froze.
Nora Lyon from behind, came to a stop in front of her.
"We meet again."
"Who is she?" Meredith was asking Aveline when she saw how pale faced she had gotten.
Her protective instincts kicked in, and she stepped in front of her.
Nora scrunched her nose, and eyed Meredith from her head down to her toes.
