Chapter 53 - Quincy

The boy introduced him as Quincy, he was a D-ranked leveler and had the backing of Camilla, a senior in the Stellar class.

Well, he was the only one in his dorm and the Noval class to have a girl backing him, which made him stand out among the peers, since his backer was not so ordinary and was ranked top five beauty in the Stellar class.

Although it was not common to have a girl backing any boy in the academy, this boy had broken the record becoming the first.

He had approached Wren in hopes of getting Kelvin to be his teacher, since he saw that although Kelvin wasn't free with girls, he was interactive with Wren and Ashley.

"I don't know if I may be able to convince Kelvin."

Wren said, her head held high. She wasn't so close to Kelvin, as to demand things from him.

So she wasn't so sure that Kelvin would give in so easily.

"Give it a try, you never know what can happen. Just maybe he may give in."

The boy was so persisted, begging Wren obnoxiously.

And at the end of lunch, Wren reluctantly gave in, on one condition.

He would pay her back with something in the future.

Wren wasn't a person of giving out freely, so by the time the two left the cafeteria, they had written an IOU. Add details and description

Quincy, with his determined gaze and charming smile, had managed to wear Wren down with his persistent requests.

As they stood in the cafeteria, surrounded by the hum of conversation and the clinking of utensils, Wren scribbled down the IOU on a napkin, her handwriting neat and precise.

"You owe me one, Quincy," she said, her voice firm but amused.

"Don't forget to pay up when the time comes."

Quincy grinned, relief washing over his face. "I won't forget, Wren," he said, his voice filled with gratitude.

"Thank you so much for agreeing to help me. I owe you one, indeed."

As they parted ways, Wren couldn't help but wonder what Quincy's story was, and what had driven him to seek out Kelvin's guidance.

She also wondered what Camilla, his backer, was like, and what her motivations were for supporting Quincy.

But as her thought of Quincy began to broaden, she received a message from her group through on her phone.

Before she left, their contacts were shared and later a group profile was created by the group leader, since anonymous to the group.

The academy had made it that, the group leader was going to be made secretive among his peers, and the person who discovers the leader would benefit else after the trip the leader if not still discovered would benefit points if 100, 000.

Wren knew it wasn't going to be as simple as it seems, not when the Westwood Academy was involved.

As she walked to the location, she stopped in front of a vending machine. To purchase any item from the academy, cards were given beforehand to the children.

Swiping her card, a transaction was instantly made to Wren through her phone. She took the mineral water, and headed off. She saw an advertisement on the school forum on this bottle water which rejuvenate the body and provided minerals for growing bones and teeth.

She had been eager to get the water, and now that she stumbled across it she wasn't going to let it slip.

Wren made her way to the upper deck of the Westwood Academy's yacht, specifically to the Sky Lounge, a popular spot for students to gather and socialize.

As she entered the Sky Lounge, she was greeted by the warm glow of the setting sun streaming through the large glass windows that offered breathtaking views of the ocean.

The room was filled with comfortable seating areas, including plush couches and chairs, and the atmosphere was relaxed and casual.

The sound of gentle waves crashing against the yacht's hull and the soft hum of conversation filled the air.

Wren looked around, taking in the familiar faces of her group members. They were all seated in a corner, chatting quietly among themselves.

The group had claimed a cozy spot near the window, with a stunning view of the ocean. Wren made her way over to them, taking a seat in the empty chair. The soft cushions enveloped her as she sat down, and she felt a sense of relief wash over her.

The Sky Lounge was a perfect spot for a meeting, with its comfortable seating and beautiful views. Wren took a sip of her mineral water, feeling the cool liquid refresh her parched throat.

She glanced around the room, taking in the luxurious decor and the stunning views.

The Westwood Academy's yacht was truly a marvel, and Wren couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation as she looked forward to the journey ahead.
