"What? What do you mean?" I asked, my eyes grew wide with my jaw dropping.
"Yes dear. The three stars you saw represent your three mates. They're like shields to protect you during times of danger." The witch confessed, giving me a long gaze.
"B-but I saw a dragon appearing to save me. He released flames from his mouth and, after that, I can't remember much." I said, holding my forehead as I tried to remember.
The old witch remained speechless after my statement. She got on her feet and backed me, pacing in deep thoughts.
She then turned to face me and said, "I don't know why you saw that dragon but whatever it meant, I also don't seem to understand."
"Why am I having these dreams all of a sudden? And why does it appear to be real? This doesn't make sense." I questioned, trying to understand.
The witch smiled at me and said, "Those dreams are manifestations of your first power, Camelia,"
"Do you also realize you're a hybrid?"
"A hybrid?" I asked, my eyes widened in shock.
"Yes, dear. Your grandmother was a hybrid too. She was part werewolf, part witch. Though, both your parents are Werewolves but you still have the gene of a witch,"
"You have a lot to learn, Camelia. You possess certain powers and that is why you're chosen."
After some time, the witch finished her statement, and my mates walked back in.
Xavier rushed immediately to my direction, wanting to gain my attention. He flashed me a warm smile as he caressed my soft cheek.
"How about we live here in my kingdom, mates," Xavier suggested as he turned to face Desmond and Carlos who shook their heads in disagreement.
"I agree with sharing my mate with you two only because it was destined by the moon goddess. However, I'll only agree to share her with you if we all live in my kingdom." Xavier emphasized with a cunny little sly grin.
"That's never going to happen." Carlos retorted.
"Yeah, same here. I won't accept that." Desmond concurred.
The witch sighed after watching their drama and eventually spoke, "That's okay, all of you. I believed I mentioned earlier that you three should learn how to be at peace with each other, and that starts with agreeing on a particular thing."
"Thanks for clarifying, old sorceress. I made the suggestion first so they should learn to agree with me at all costs." Xavier spoke authoritatively, but the witch shook her head in disapproval.
"Since you three are strong headed, you'll have no choice but to abide with any decision Camelia makes. She speaks, and you all listen from now on." The old witch clarified once more before taking slow paces towards me.
"However for now, she can't live in your kingdom, Lycan Xavier,"
"She has to be at Goldmoon Pack, before this weekend."
"Why have you said that?" Carlos asked, wanting to understand the witch's statement.
"Because Camelia's father is in danger. Your father, Alpha Varlos, has ordered for his execution this weekend. He believed you eloped with her after coming to reclaim her against his will."
The old witch said to a shocked Carlos.
"You mean if we don't show up during the weekend, then my father will be dead?" I asked, my eyes widened in shock.
Even when my father never treated me like his daughter, part of me still loved him because my grandmother had always taught me to love.
"Yes Camelia. Not only your father will be executed, but every single person you are acquainted with." The old witch revealed and I covered my mouth, my eyes widened in shock.
Carlos walked up to me and gave me a tight hug. He shoved his fingers into my hair and kissed my forehead. "Don't you worry, mate. I will do everything in my power to save your father or any other person you know from facing my father's wrath. Mark my words."
"I will be leaving now. I hope all I have said is clear now." The witch said and nodded to her girls, signifying that they leave.
She paused before she could step outside, as if forgetting something behind.
She slowly turned back and maintained a long gaze at Desmond.
"You're one sweet charming vampire,"
"Please do all you can to protect camelia from your people, most especially your vicious Vampire brother, Damon."
She said lastly before leaving with the two damsels from earlier.
I was still in Carlos's grasp and he kept comforting me and assuring me of his promise.
Xavier and Desmond joined hands in packing our stuff, getting a horse ready for our Journey.
"How long does it take to reach your pack from here?" Xavier asked as he turned to face Carlos.
"It takes a day, but due to the foggy weather, I can't tell. It might take up to two days." Carlos responded, still keeping me in his clutches.
"I'm done with arranging some foodstuffs and items. Since it's still bright outside, we ought to start moving." Desmond suggested while Xavier snapped his finger after hearing him speak.
"And I guess you're correct, Mr Vampire. I sure quite like your personality. I find it rather amazing."
"Thanks!"
Desmond replied to him with a smile, his cute dimples forming on the two sides of his cheek.
After Xavier gave a short speech to his fellow Lycans, he handed a temporary leadership position to knight Linda, enabling her to control the pack while he left.
Knight Linda nodded and accepted with delight. She then walked up to me and said, "I'm glad we found you in this batch. Please take care of our Lycan, King Xavier."
I stood, transfixed at a spot as I watched her bow to me.
Why was she so respectful towards me now?
I couldn't help but feel like a queen.
After some time, my mates and I set off into the woods with our horses.
Xavier was in a white jacket and leather pants, looking hot as he rode on his beautiful gray horse.
Carlos was in a striped shirt and brown pants, his long blond hair undulating as he rode fast in the woods.
Desmond couldn't keep his eyes off me while we rode. He smelled more like honey and lemon. His cute dimples were what melted my heart every single time I looked at him.
We couldn't continue our journey when the clouds built and the sky turned dark..
We felt the dew drops and we knew it would rain in no time.
"We have to make a tent around here," Xavier suggested as he glanced at an empty space filled with grasses and scanty flowers.
"I agree with you. We can't continue with the journey. It's getting dark and our mate might be exhausted." Carlos admitted as he gave me a cute stare.
While Xavier fixed the tent, Desmond made a fireplace and brought out some marshmallows to roast.
I shuddered a little from the cool breeze and Xavier removed his jacket as he approached me.
My eyes widened and I closed them as what I could only focus on was his cute hairy chest.
He wore his jacket on me and I couldn't help but keep my eyes closed.
My heart was beating frantically against my chest and I wondered if he could even hear it.
