Celestial (thinking):

* isn't that sophia, the mortal i helped .

Sophia was cleaning a table as she worked there.

Celestial (thinking):

*I should slip out.

Lucia

Celestial:"yeah , once i helped her."

She flaps her wings and and head to reclaim what once was hers.

Scene - a mountain

Atrifact-gloves of darkness.

Celestial ( thinking):

Who would have thought a artifact which wasn't usefull to me in my previous life. Would help my ecplipsed powers.ugh it gonna be veryhard .

The wind howled like a beast in pain as Celestial landed atop the jagged mountain. The sky above swirled with unnatural clouds—blackened like ash, but cracked through with streaks of red lightning. Something about this place made even her angelic aura dim.

Celestial stood at the foot of a large obsidian gate carved into the mountain wall. In its center floated a pair of black gloves: ancient, cracked, and wrapped in thick dark mist.

Celestial (thinking):

In my past life, I discarded these Gloves of Darkness like they were cursed trash. But now… now they might be the only thing that can stabilize my eclipsed powers.

Lucia, her spirit familiar, hovered beside her in glowing orb form, pulsing with worry.

Lucia: "Master, are you sure? This trial is designed to destroy intruders. I can't help you inside. It's forbidden by the relic's contract."

Celestial sighed dramatically.

Celestial: "Of course it's forbidden. When is anything ever easy in my life?"

Lucia: "Since you got reincarnated as a baby angel and then blew up a corrupted spirit by sneezing?"

Celestial: "…Shut up, Lucia."

She stepped forward. The second her foot crossed the gate's shadow, the air turned solid—like she was walking into water made of rage.

⚔️ Inside the Trial Realm

The world changed instantly.

She now stood in a burning field of obsidian thorns. The ground sizzled beneath her bare feet, the sky was aflame, and looming above her was a monstrous guardian forged of shadow and bone, crowned with twisted horns.

It growled—low and guttural.

Trial Guardian: "Only those worthy of shadow may wield it. Let the trial begin."

The guardian lunged.

Celestial barely dodged, flipping backward in midair as it smashed the ground where she stood, leaving a crater large enough to bury a horse. She flared her wings and summoned a blade of light, but the moment it touched the guardian—it shattered like glass.

Celestial (thinking):

Okay! No light-based attacks. Bad idea. Got it.

She gritted her teeth and dove behind a spire of stone, panting. The pressure in the air was crushing, and her Aether wouldn't obey her call.

Celestial: "Tch… Of course. No Aether either. I really am flying solo today."

The guardian let out a roar and sent a barrage of shadow spears flying toward her. Celestial sprinted, barely avoiding them—one clipped her shoulder, drawing blood.

Lucia's voice echoed faintly in her mind.

Lucia: "Are you okay?!"

Celestial: "Do I look okay!? Actually, don't answer that. Just—think happy thoughts for me or something!"

She ducked under another swipe and leapt onto the guardian's back. It twisted violently, trying to shake her off, but she held tight.

Celestial (thinking):

I can't beat it with light… but maybe I don't have to.

As she clung to its back, she reached out—feeling the darkness radiating from it. Slowly, she let her Aether mix with it—not purify it, but accept it.

Pain shot through her body. Her wings flickered—black feathers replacing white ones for a moment—and her eyes glowed a dim, eerie silver.

The guardian let out a shriek.

Trial Guardian: "You… You are not a child of light…"

Celestial (whispering):

"No. Not anymore."

With a fierce cry, she plunged her hand into its chest. Not with light, not with force—but with harmony.

And the guardian shattered into mist.

🖤 After the Trial

Celestial fell to her knees, panting, bruised, and shaking.

The Gloves of Darkness floated down before her, waiting.

Lucia (nervously): "Y-you okay, Master?"

Celestial: "Yeah. Just lost a little blood, a lot of energy, and maybe my spine. But totally fine."

She slipped the gloves on. Cold at first—but then, familiar. Like an old song she'd forgotten.

Celestial (thinking):

They're not cursed… they're mine.

Her black-feathered wings unfolded fully now, glowing with both darkness and aether.

She smirked and stood.
