(Month 7 of Pregnancy)
(On way to kang villa)
Around 12,
Taewon drove steadily, hands firm on the steering wheel.
His calm expression never wavered, eyes fixed on the path ahead.
Beside him, Jihyun slouched in the seat, oversized shirt riding up slightly over his fully round belly.
One hand rested protectively on it, the other crossed over his chest in frustration.
"I can't believe you forgot again,"
Jihyun muttered, his pout deepening.
Taewon chuckled softly, parking the car on the side of the road.
"Okay… What did I forget this time, Jihyun-ah?"
"The shoes!" Jihyun huffed, crossing his arms.
"I told you to wear proper shoes, even placed them right in front of you, and you still wore slippers!"
Taewon laughed slowly, shaking his head, lips twitching.
"Ah… those shoes."
He leaned closer, eyes soft.
"Alright, alright. I'm sorry, okay? Don't glare like that."
Taewon leaned placed hand on Jihyun's belly,
"My little one, tell your mama to stop pouting. I was in a hurry, that's why I forgot."
Jihyun turned sharply, spinning toward Taewon, eyes wide and glaring.
"Stop saying that! The baby isn't going to stop me from being mad!"
Jihyun pouted even more, leaning back, legs stretched like a stubborn child, belly pressing lightly against the seatbelt.
"You'll meet your mom like this. She'll think I don't take care of you!"
Taewon reached over, lifting Jihyun's hand from his belly, pressing it gently against his chest.
"Yah, why are you crying now? I swear I forgot. Look at me… even I feel bad."
He tilted Jihyun's face toward him, teasing lightly.
"See this handsome face? I'm Enigma, the most handsome CEO, and still… I worry so much about my little wife and our baby that I start forgetting things."
Jihyun couldn't help a small laugh, but he shook his head, stubborn as always.
"Don't talk to me."
Taewon smiled, turning back to the road.
"Okay, little mama, let's make it right. We'll stop by the mall buy shoes for me, gifts for Mom, Dan, and Yumi. And you… what about you?"
Jihyun's pout softened slightly, a tiny grin tugging at his lips.
"I'll get something spicy. I'm hungry."
"You didn't pack snacks?"
"I… forgot," Jihyun admitted, touching his belly lightly
"Because I feel like I'm raising two babies now."
Taewon reached over, pressing a gentle kiss to his lips, then to his belly.
"Little one, today, behave. We're going to meet Grandma so don't give mama hard time and if you behaved in future me and mama will try harder to bring you more siblings "
Jihyun rolled his eyes, leaning back, legs stretched in the seat, half pouting, half smiling.
"yaaa! You...drive or I'm going to smash these eyes of yours "
The car rolled forward,
stopping at the mall to grab shoes, gifts, and some food before continuing the journey.
(By four in the afternoon)
The Kang villa gates appeared.
Through the open garden, children's laughter echoed.
Taesung sat outside with coffee and a book, Yumi and Dan chasing each other, Jihan watching carefully.
Taewon stopped the car, eyes scanning the yard. Taesung stood, surprised.
"Oh… it's Taewon? Didn't say he was coming."
Jihan picked up Dan quickly, looking toward the car. Yumi ran excitedly to the driveway.
(Inside the car)
Taewon said ,
"Let's go"
Jihyun looked at taewon hesitating
"You go..first I'll.."
Taewon placed his hand on jihyun's hands said with calm tone,
"Don't worry everything will be alright"
Taewon stepped out calmly, greeting Yumi first with a soft kiss on her forehead, then Taesung and Jihan with gentle nods.
And kissed Dan softly on cheek.
Mrs. Kang appeared, face softening as she walked toward him.
"Finally… it's been more than two months, Taewon-ah."
Taewon smiled, calm and composed.
"Yes, Mom Work kept me busy."
"It's hot outside, let's go in,"
she said, motioning toward the villa.
But Taewon paused, glancing toward the car. His hand brushed lightly on the door handle. "Mom…"
Mrs. Kang looked at him, puzzled.
"Yes?"
"I brought someone with me," he said quietly.
Taesung frowned. "Someone?"
Taewon opened the car door.
Jihyun stepped out slowly, hand on his round belly, cheeks flushed, eyes hesitant.
Mrs. Kang froze briefly, taking in Jihyun and his clearly pregnant form.
Taewon reached for Jihyun's hand, brushing it gently.
"It's okay," his calm reassurance whispered.
Jihyun hesitated,
Then went forward greeted Mrs kang softly like he used to,
Mrs kang hugged back,
And simply said,
"Let's go inside. It's hot out here."
(Inside Kang Villa)
The atmosphere was quiet, slightly stiff, as Taewon explained everything.
"Mom, we're really hoping… if you accept us, our baby, and give us the same love you did back then,"
He said, voice steady, "and our child."
Mrs. Kang's lips curved into a soft smile.
"Taewon-ah, no matter which path you choose my dear, no matter where you and Jihyun go… it's your life.
You have to live it. As a mother, I'll always support you. My love for both of you hasn't changed. If you've already made your decision, all I have to do is support my child."
Jihyun, with Taewon's gentle support, stood and walked slowly toward Mrs. Kang.
He settled beside her, hand brushing hers.
"Mom…" he began softly.
Mrs. Kang turned, smiling, though her eyes shimmered with unshed tears.
"Yes?" she said warmly.
"I'm sorry for everything I did back then," Jihyun continued, voice a little shaky.
"For every pain I caused you…"
Mrs. Kang pulled him into a tight hug.
"No, Jihyun. You've always been my child. Don't apologize for that.
You and Taewon are just doing what you think is right for you.
Stop worrying about the past let it go. Focus on your present, your future."
She placed a gentle hand on Jihyun's rounded belly.
"And how many months now?"
she asked softly.
"Seven," Jihyun replied, a small smile tugging at his lips.
Mrs. Kang nodded, smiling.
"Little time left for our little Taewon to arrive, huh?"
Jihyun chuckled, nodding.
Taesung, wanting to lighten the mood, leaned back slightly.
"Wait… hold on. If it's seven months, does this mean you've been together all this time and didn't tell us? Not even once?"
Taewon's calm smile curved gently.
"Not seven… actually eight months and fourteen days."
Taesung's eyes widened.
"I'm going to call Taemi. Just wait," he said, getting up quickly.
Taewon followed him lightly, letting the conversation flow naturally.
Jihyun, Jihan, and Mrs. Kang shared a quiet smile, the tension easing.
Mrs. Kang took Jihyun's hand in hers.
"From now on, you'll be living with me until the baby is born, just like Jihan You'll learn a thing or two from Jihan," she said gently.
Jihan smiled warmly at Jihyun, a little nod of reassurance.
"I'm going to bring something for you two to eat," Mrs. Kang said, standing.
Jihan began to get up.
"Mother, I'll go"
"No, dear," Mrs. Kang interrupted softly.
"You all stay and get to know each other. I'll check with the cook about dinner."
Jihan sat back down beside Jihyun, and they exchanged small, shy smiles,
(After Dinner – Kang Villa)
The dinner plates had been cleared, but the kitchen still held the warm scent of roasted meat and fresh vegetables.
Mrs. Kang leaned slightly toward Jihyun, concern softening her eyes.
"Dear, it's not good that you're not eating properly. It's affecting your health. Here try this."
She placed a plate of roasted meat in front of him.
"Healthier than the pasta, and better for you and the baby."
Jihyun smiled, reaching for it, but paused.
Before he could start, Jihan quietly brought over a small bowl of ice cream and set it in front of him.
"Eat this. I know ice cream makes things feel better," he said with a soft smile.
Jihyun's lips curved into a relaxed grin.
"Thank you… How did you know I'd like this?"
Jihan nodded toward Dan, sitting contentedly with Taewon.
"Look at him he's been watching and learning. You just wait. This isn't going to be an easy journey at all."
Jihyun chuckled faintly, a mixture of amusement and comfort.
"Are you trying to scare me… or relax me?"
They shared a quiet smile, watching the others.
Dan wriggled slightly on Taewon's lap, clearly full, while Taesung fed him a few more bites.
"Dude… just wait for Taemi,"
Taesung said to Taewon with a grin.
"She's coming tomorrow, and she's going to interrogate Jihyun with all her weird questions."
Taewon raised an eyebrow at his brother.
"You know how she is. She'll depress Jihyun, and you never listen when I warn you."
Taesung shrugged.
"Instead of worrying about her, think about Harin. She told Mom she's coming tomorrow weekend visit."
Taewon said sighing
"Why you didn't told me hyung "
Taesung rolled eyes,
"As if you told me about your plannings"
Taewon glanced down at Dan.
"Dan, all done? You're full?"
The little boy shook his head and patted his tummy.
"No more, Papa."
Taewon smiled, ruffling Dan's hair.
"Your dad eats a lot, so I guess he's trying to turn you into himself "
Taesung rolled his eyes.
"Real man, real Alpha, dude."
Taewon said smirking,
"Mine is going to be the strongest since got their Enigma dad genes"
Taesung said,
"Dude, Don't forget your child mother is also dominant Omega "
Taewon chuckled softly, glancing at Jihyun.
"Whatever happens, even if the little one turns out to be an Omega… I'll still love him. Both of them."
Jihyun leaned back, a gentle warmth spreading through him, as he watched Taewon and Dan together.
(Around 11 PM)
Jihyun sat up in bed, rubbing his eyes.
"Taewon."
Taewon turned from his side of the bed, half asleep. "Hmm?"
"I'm hungry," Jihyun said, pouting slightly. "Bring me something."
Taewon smiled softly, sitting up.
"Okay, I'm going."
He grabbed his robe and went downstairs quietly.
The living room lights were dim.
Taesung was sprawled on the couch, half-asleep, half-annoyed.
Taewon smirked.
"Again sleeping outside? What did you do this time?"
Taesung snorted.
"I told Jihan to send Dan to his own bed. He threw me out instead."
Taewon laughed, taking milk and cookies from the counter, placing them neatly on a tray.
"Hyung," he said, still smiling,
"Jihyun said the baby will only sleep with him. Nowhere else. Not even our room."
Taesung raised a brow.
"You see what I mean? I swear, Jihyun and Jihan feel like long-lost twins.
Same behavior, same stubbornness. Even their names sound close."
Taewon chuckled but looked thoughtful.
"So that means…"
Taesung cut him off, grinning.
"Yes, it means you're also going to sleep outside soon."
They both laughed quietly. Then Taesung leaned back with a sigh.
"Don't you ever wonder why I don't have any more kids?"
Taewon turned to him, a small smile fading into something softer.
For a moment, he said nothing just looked down at the glass of milk in his hand.
"Maybe I should start preparing for that future too," he murmured, half joking, half serious.
Taesung laughed.
"Welcome to fatherhood, little brother."
Taesung leaned back on the couch, yawning.
"Go on, take the food to him. Mood swings come and go in one second when they're pregnant."
Taewon chuckled, picking up the tray.
"Best of luck, hyung."
Taesung smirked.
"You too. Since the time you got here, I've had this feeling you're not sleeping in that room tonight."
Taewon raised an eyebrow.
"My Jihyun? He can't even sleep without me."
With that smug grin, he carried the tray upstairs.
Ten minutes passed.
The living room stayed quiet except for the ticking clock.
Then soft footsteps echoed on the stairs.
Taesung didn't even look up.
"Dude, come here. No need to hide. Just sleep here."
Taewon sighed, dropping onto the other end of the couch, still holding the tray with untouched cookies.
"He threw you out ?" Taesung teased.
Taewon rubbed his neck.
"No… he just said he wants to sleep alone tonight. Says I breathe too loud."
Taesung burst out laughing.
"Welcome to my world, little brother."
Taewon leaned back, eyes half-closed, the corners of his mouth lifting.
"Still… I'd rather be thrown out a hundred times than sleep without him."
The brothers sat in quiet comfort, the villa peaceful under the dim lights two Alphas, both hopelessly tamed by their Omegas.
