Chapter 7 - Unnamed

Chapter 6: The Rift (Part 2)

Schematics of the Spoils

The Hell Domain no longer felt the same.

Where once only death and ash reigned, now a pulse of foreign divinity hummed beneath every stone. The air was heavier, saturated with layered energy, like three kingdoms pressed into one space and struggling to coexist.

In the heart of the obsidian palace—newly reformed from the molten pits—stood the Spoilstone, a jagged monument of black crystal taller than a titan and veined with glowing red-orange fissures. It wasn't there before. It had grown like a root tearing through time and space, born from the void-core's explosion. Its faces shimmered with ancient runes and diagrams not of Hades' world. It was a library, a seal, and a declaration all in one.

Taylor floated beside it, suspended in a bubble of spectral mist. Their form was fluid—sometimes cloaked in godly robes, sometimes armored, sometimes abstract. Neither male nor female. Both. None. A spirit born from the staff of Hades and tied to his dominion. They existed now as the soul-anchor of the staff and the keeper of the void's knowledge.

"Touch it," Taylor whispered. "And understand what you've taken."

Hades raised a hand. His fingertips brushed the crystal surface. The moment he made contact, lines of violet flame traced across the stone and erupted into cascading waves of schematics and glowing diagrams.

They floated midair like constellations, spinning slowly, revealing the prizes he had pulled from a dying reality.

[1. Uru – The Metal of Divine Purpose]

Origin: Nidavellir's Great Forge

Properties: Forged in starfire, Uru is a divine conductor. It not only holds enchantments—it amplifies them. It is the reason Mjölnir and Stormbreaker could bear cosmic laws.

Behavior: Responds to authority and belief. A willful metal.

Protector: Volkmar, Warden of the Forge Flame — a lava-born titan who guarded the dying forge with his molten body. In the moment of the plunder, he became a statue of obsidian, his spirit burned away by Taylor's sealing force.

---

[2. Vibranium – The Heartmetal]

Origin: Earth (Wakanda), Core Chamber

Properties: Absorbs all kinetic energy. Pure strain converts motion into harmonic resonance, allowing crafting of weapons and armors that can nullify force.

Behavior: Reactive to sound and vibration. When forged, it sings.

Protector: Bastet's Emissary — A semi-divine feline guardian of shadow and thunder, born from the Panther Goddess's breath. Its body dispersed into black wind when Hades invoked his authority of death over beasts.

---

[3. Adamantium – The Godbone Alloy]

Origin: Weapon Plus Program, Earth

Properties: Indestructible under known physical laws. Once forged, it cannot be reshaped. Carries the chill of finality. Best suited for divine bindings and edge-forged weapons.

Behavior: Static. Resists enchantment. Exists to remain.

Protector: Nexus Sentinel Omega — a biomechanical AI guardian with temporal foresight. It predicted Hades' arrival but could not alter fate. Its eye was taken and fused into Taylor's void-glass heart.

---

[4. Ebonsteel – The Soul-Caged Metal]

Origin: K'un-Lun's Forbidden Armory

Properties: Anchors the soul to the material world. Its presence in weapons allows strikes to echo through the spirit. Souls touched by Ebonsteel feel pain long after wounds heal.

Behavior: Hungers for resonance. Bonds to cursed wielders.

Protector: The Silent Monk, a former mortal who had transcended death through meditation. He gave no resistance—merely bowed as Hades passed, dissolving into dust.

---

Then, the crystal shifted.

The ground below rumbled—not with resistance, but with reverence.

And finally, the last diagram appeared.

---

[5. The Deathroot Plateau of Asgard]

Origin: Beneath Odin's palace, hidden beneath rune-sealed foundations. This obsidian-black land was the anchor of Hela's death dominion. It held her spirit, her legacy, and her wrath.

What Was Taken: The entire spatial foundation. The land, the roots, and the divine leyline that channeled the energy of dead Asgardians into Hela's power.

Current State: It is now merged with the lowest ring of Tartarus. Beneath the palace, the soil has turned blacker, denser. It radiates a pulse—one that feeds death-energy into the throne every hour.

Taylor whispered: "That... is not soil. It's godhood, made manifest."

Hades stood over the plateau. Violet-black roses bloomed around his feet. Their petals hissed with mist.

Each breath he took was a tide of soul essence. Each second, his power grew—not explosively, but steadily.

From the ground rose a transparent sigil—a rotating disk of celestial language that slowly translated into meaning:

---

Underworld Anchor Assimilation: Complete

> Source: [Deathroot Plateau of Asgard]

Effect: Daily regeneration of Divine Power Units

Allocation:

Hades: 1 Divine Unit / Day

Hela: 1 Divine Unit / Day

> Notes: 1 Unit = 0.01% of Total Reserves. Growth is compounding. Full recovery in approximately 1,000,000 days unless accelerated.

---

Hades exhaled.

It could've been two units a day, but the plateau had split its inheritance. With Hela now bound to his domain—and her body lying silently atop her ancestral soil—they were both chosen.

Not rivals.

Co-heirs.

The gods of death—twice born.

He stepped forward and looked to Taylor.

"Prepare the forge chamber. We will use what we've taken."

Taylor bowed. Their form split into twin reflections before vanishing into the palace's inner core.

Then came the final pulse.

From beneath the palace, the black Deathroot throbbed like a heart.

A voice whispered from below—not Hela's, not Taylor's.

But the domain itself.

It recognized its new master.

And far above the obsidian palace, the skies of Hell trembled.

Divinity had returned to the underworld.

And it had brought friends.
