"Come on in, Garran! What news have you brought?" Varric's voice rang out casually, the rim of his goblet pressed lightly to his lips as he sipped his wine.
He leaned back, observing the man before him, noting the unusual spring in his step.
Garran bowed low, his posture stiff but respectful. "This servant greets the Prime Minister!" His tone carried a brightness Garran rarely displayed, one that immediately brought a small, knowing smile to Varric's face.
"I suppose the news is positive, given how happy you seem," Varric remarked, his sharp eyes glinting with curiosity. Garran's nod was all the confirmation he needed.
"Indeed," Garran began, his words quick but measured. "I have been tracing His Majesty's whereabouts since yesterday, and yet… nobody has a clue. Minister Kaelith has not been seen since yesterday.
