Chapter 91 - Honkai: Star Rail – From the Moment Tom The Cat Became My Passenger [91]

Under the guidance of the wooden arrow, the glowing arrow crazily hurtled toward the Hunt Aeon.

Just as it was about to reach Lan, the Hunt Aeon, the wooden arrow suddenly seemed to recall something, and its body abruptly halted in midair.

Consequently, the glowing arrow behind it also came to a screeching halt.

In the next instant, the wooden arrow turned around, faced the glowing arrow, and then its arrowhead pointed back upward at Lan hovering in the sky.

The glowing arrow instantly understood. This meant that it was supposed to go up there first and give the Hunt Aeon Lan a solid beating.

But…

Though assimilated by Tom and Jerry's power, it still retained a faint sense of its original consciousness. It was, after all, born from Lan's own hands. Right now, it might be utterly bewitched by the wooden arrow's beauty, but would attacking the Hunt Aeon again be too filial an act?

Just as the glowing arrow hesitated, its body bending and softening uncertainly—

A slender, delicate right hand suddenly emerged from the wooden arrow, gently stroking the glowing arrow's chin.

In the blink of an eye, the previously wavering and softened glowing arrow became stiff and rigid once more. Its azure glow overflowed with countless pink hearts.

Then, it vigorously nodded, eager to show off its prowess to its goddess, the wooden arrow.

A fluorescent arm sprouted from its body.

Immediately after, the glowing arrow flexed its newly sprouted arm, proudly displaying a bulging bicep—and atop that muscle grew yet another bulging bicep. Biceps upon biceps erupted upward endlessly.

Breaking through the clouds, the final bulging muscle arrived right in front of Lan, the Hunt Aeon, who was still standing there watching blankly.

Suddenly, a hammer popped out from this bulging muscle.

It slammed down hard on Lan's head.

Duang——!

With a crisp sound, the glowing arrow completed its act of outrageous filial piety. A large, elongated pink bump gradually emerged from the Hunt Aeon's head, transforming the majestic centaur-like deity into a unicorn.

In the next moment, the multitude of exaggerated biceps instantly vanished.

Having concluded its muscle-flexing exhibition, the glowing arrow prepared to loyally follow the wooden arrow again.

However, it found the wooden arrow still flirting. The slender hand lightly touched its own arrowhead.

"Mwah~!"

It blew a kiss, creating another pink heart that flew directly toward and merged into the glowing arrow.

Instantly, the glowing arrow turned entirely heart-shaped pink.

Its head abruptly shifted into that of a dog, tongue hanging out, eyes transformed into heart shapes.

Clearly, it was completely and utterly toyed with by the wooden arrow.

The glowing arrow once again looked toward Lan, transforming into a dazzling pink rainbow streaking aggressively toward its target.

The wooden arrow immediately followed close behind.

In a flash, they arrived right before Lan, the Hunt Aeon.

Seeing this, Lan drew the bow again and released an equally magnificent cyan-blue glowing arrow like a shooting star, fiercely colliding with the pink arrow already seduced by charm.

BOOM——!!!!!

An earth-shattering explosion instantly tore through the sky, scattering clouds and energy waves wildly around.

Crack… Crack…

Within Feixiao's inner world, sharp cracking sounds echoed out. Its edges struggled under the unbearable impact, about to shatter like glass.

Feixiao, who had been looking upward, suddenly contorted in pain. Kneeling on one knee, her left hand pressed tightly against her ample chest, from which brilliant light radiated—but cracks of intertwined pink and cyan rapidly spread across her chest.

The halberd in her hand blazed with brilliant azure light.

This weapon was a presence bestowed upon Feixiao by Lan himself, thus it temporarily stabilized her inner world amidst the collision of the arrows.

Yet, the overwhelming impact still surged relentlessly, and the cracks continued to multiply, deepening Feixiao's pain. If this went on, things would become dire.

Witnessing this, Tom and Jerry quickly scampered to the edge of Feixiao's inner world. Tom whipped out a little wooden mallet and nails from behind his back, while Jerry produced a roll of white tape, casually sticking it on.

The cat and mouse made some slapdash repairs.

Tom, holding the hammer, mischievously glanced at Jerry beside him. Eyebrows wiggling, he flashed a sinister grin, raised the hammer, and swung toward Jerry.

Jerry turned around just in time, saw Tom attacking, swiftly whipped out his tape-roll, which transformed into a lasso, instantly capturing Tom's mallet and pulling it tight.

In the next instant, Jerry frantically circled around Tom, wrapping him from bottom to top until Tom was entirely mummified, except for his head. The tape-roll was completely exhausted.

Standing on Tom's head, Jerry triumphantly hopped once, knocking Tom flat onto the ground.

Carefree, Jerry leisurely dusted his paws, shut his eyes, walked from Tom's head down to his nose, produced a small red ball, and planted it firmly onto Tom's nose. With arms behind his head, Jerry casually strolled away.

Tom, still wrapped up, glanced toward the center of the scene.

Vaguely, a clown-cat silhouette mockingly sprang forth.

Tom's head instantly flushed bright red; he burst from his confinement, scattering tape everywhere, and charged after Jerry.

Though Tom and Jerry's chase immediately resumed after their trivial repairs, strangely, the fractures visibly began healing themselves, becoming even sturdier than before.

Feixiao's intense pain vanished completely, replaced by renewed strength and determination. Her inner world was now reinforced with Tom and Jerry's power.

Instantly, the expanding storm overhead was violently suppressed.

When the clashing arrows finally dissipated, the turbulent sky cleared, leaving an enormous circular hole amid the storm clouds.

From the dissipating storm emerged the wooden arrow, darting swiftly toward Lan.

However, despite the wooden arrow's bizarre behavior earlier, Lan could still sense no Path energy from it.

Even to Lan, it felt like nothing more than ordinary wood.

Recalling how it had seduced the glowing arrow, Lan refrained from firing again and instead threw a punch as it approached closely.

But in the next moment—

The wooden arrow easily dodged, deftly slid along Lan's arm, circled gracefully around, and finally—

Plunged straight into Lan's rear end.

An indescribable, unbearable pain surged instantly throughout Lan's entire body.

For reasons beyond comprehension, Lan uncontrollably grabbed at his backside, unleashing a bizarre, high-pitched shriek:

"Iyaaaaa—YAAAAOOooOoo↑oo↓oo↑—!!!"

Lan rocketed straight up into the clouds, completely vanishing from sight.

General Jing Yuan: "…"

Witnessing this scene, Jing Yuan's expression filled with numbness.

If only I had truly fainted earlier…

If he'd passed out back when Tom was leading Lan like a horse, he could still find some plausible excuse later.

But how could he explain this?!

Were it not for his rock-solid mental resilience, his worldview would've collapsed already.

In truth, Lan's lofty image had long been shattered in Jing Yuan's heart. Perhaps someday, adhering strictly to the Hunt Path, he might've had a chance to meet Lan.

But now that hope was dashed. Even if he miraculously met Lan in the future, Jing Yuan feared he'd inevitably recall this scene and burst out laughing.

Thinking again, with Lan's dignity already smashed to this extent, wasn't it a waste that he hadn't held the reins Yevenko had left him earlier?

His mouth curled upward, but he quickly suppressed such a heretical thought.

Damn Tom and Yevenko's corruptive influence!

He sighed deeply.

"Yanqing… Yanqing!"

Yanqing was still frozen, his reverence for Lan rapidly fading after what he'd witnessed. Jing Yuan quickly snapped him—and Yunli—out of their stupor.

But for Moze and Jiaoqiu, he decided to let them recover on their own. Adults could handle their own crises of faith.

To Yanqing and Yunli, Jing Yuan spoke solemnly:

"To be honest, had I known this would happen, I'd rather none of us had come into General Feixiao's inner world… But since we're here, accept it as training."

He paused meaningfully. "Remember, Lan didn't fall—Tom's absurdity simply influenced even an Aeon."

Yanqing's eyes grew serious. "I understand, General."

Nearby, Yevenko laughed uncontrollably, reaching for his milk but finding it missing. Turning around—

"Pffft—!!" Someone beside him spewed milk everywhere, erupting into clown-like laughter behind a masked face.

Yevenko's smile vanished.

"Fuck!"
