Luas POV
“Fine, I did take her but not in the way you think it is. I wanted to teach Kai a lesson.”
"So you kidnapped her," Alpha Gregory stated."And when Kai came for her?"
"There was a fight," I continued. "Kai nearly killed me. I fell unconscious but someone arrived just in time to help me escape while Kai was focused on Lily.”
“So you staged your death?” Gregory asked.
“No,” I shook my head. “I was just going to hide and come back after a few hours but I heard from one of my contacts that rumors of me dying at the hands of Alpha Kai was spreading.”
“Where were you all this time and please don’t give me that talk about going to the Alpha Summit. That was the first place I checked when I heard you kidnapped Lily.”
I hesitated for a second.
“I’ve been hiding in the human world.”
“That means you have someone helping you?” Gregory asked again.
I didn’t say anything. That was too much information.
