Lily POV
The boy was right after all.
The history lecturer was Professor Nathan – Professor Nathan Morrison.
I could feel Professor Nathan’s attention turn towards the boy as he mentioned his name. When I glanced at him, he looked amused.
"That's very thoughtful of you," I said, accepting the notes gratefully. "But really, you didn't need to go to all this trouble."
"No trouble at all," the boy replied cheerfully, then seemed to notice Professor Nathan for the first time. His eyes widened with recognition and what might have been nervousness. "Oh! Professor Nath, I didn't see you there. I hope we're not interrupting anything important."
“It’s Professor Morrison,” Nathan said steely. “Didn’t we agree no first name basis.”
“It’s kind of confusing for me,” the boy said cheekily. “Your father was known as Professor Morrison. We can’t call you that.”
