[SAMANTHA’s Point of View]
I moved away from the kids and hissed at Dominic. I became frustrated by his irrational anger, especially since he was aware that his accusations had no sense at all and that Killian had a mate. No way he would still have feelings for me!
“Stop it, Dominic! What are you even saying?! Killian just helped me, okay? I slipped! He had no intention of touching me! What is wrong with you?”
I glanced at the kids, and both of them looked anxious and worried about the anger they saw on my face and their father’s.
Why was he behaving like this? I stared at his face, and there was indeed something wrong with him. He was sweating bullets on his forehead. The muscles on his face were shaking, as well as his fingers. Killian must have noticed it as well because I saw how his eyes widened.
Dominic hid his hands on his back after he noticed that Killian and I stared at them. He knew. We knew the curse was worsening.
We couldn’t waste any more seconds.
