Well, maybe now I understand why she wasn't thrilled about falling for me.
And in a way, I feel relieved that I'm not in love with her.
Or at least, I think so… I mean, there's no way a gazelle could fall in love with the lion that hunts her.
The fact that I'm the gazelle here, even though I'm the vampire and she's the human, is depressing, but it's the truth.
