Rayden and Broly both released their full power, their auras erupting into the sky like a storm.
Meanwhile, back on Earth, Cell was still on the run, searching frantically for a place to hide.
"Who are these two?! Their aura is terrifying!" Cell muttered as he darted through the ruins of the city.
"Hmph! Still trying to hide?"
Broly condensed a glowing energy bomb in his palm and hurled it toward an abandoned building. Just as the explosion engulfed the structure, Cell leapt out the window to escape.
But before he could get away, Rayden appeared instantly in front of him and landed a crushing punch. Cell was obliterated, his body shattered into pieces, disappearing from the world entirely.
With Cell defeated, Rayden turned to Broly. "Let's go."
They both vanished using Instant Transmission.
---
Swish!
Rayden and Broly appeared next to Trunks, who had been anxiously waiting.
"Uncle Rayden, has Cell been taken care of?" Trunks asked.
"Solved," Rayden nodded.
"Trunks, it's time to restore Earth. Hold onto me—I'll take you to Namek."
Trunks, full of hope, quickly placed his hand on Rayden's shoulder. Son Goku and the others followed, placing their hands on Rayden as well.
---
Swish!
They all arrived on Namek—Trunks, Broly, Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Piccolo, and Paragus.
After explaining the situation to the Great Elder, Goku and Piccolo stood back as the Great Elder summoned the elders from various villages. One by one, they flew in, each carrying a large Dragon Ball the size of a football.
Soon, the seven Namekian Dragon Balls were gathered.
The Great Elder raised his voice in the Namekian tongue: "Come forth, Porunga, God of Dreams! Please grant our wish!"
The Dragon Balls glowed brilliantly, resonating with one another. A golden light burst forth into the sky, and the mighty dragon Porunga appeared, eyes glowing red.
"Whoever has summoned me, state your wish. I will grant it, no matter what it is!"
The Great Elder turned to Goku. "What do you wish for?"
Goku thought for a moment. "Please, revive Piccolo on Earth and bring him here."
The Great Elder relayed the wish to Porunga.
"This wish is simple," Porunga responded.
With a flash of light, Piccolo appeared before them—alive once more.
"Huh? I was dead…? Who brought me back? And why does this guy look just like me?" Future Piccolo asked, confused as he glanced at his counterpart.
"Your wish has been granted. State your second wish."
Rayden stepped forward. "Great Elder, please have Porunga reinforce both Namek and Earth—strengthen their environments and restore their stability."
The Great Elder gave Rayden a respectful nod. "Are you certain this is your wish?"
Rayden replied firmly, "Absolutely."
"Rayden, thank you," the Great Elder said with sincerity. "Most people wouldn't use the Dragon Balls for such selfless wishes."
The elder then turned back to the sky and repeated the wish in the Namek language.
"These wishes are simple," Porunga said.
Three minutes later, Porunga's eyes flashed again.
"Your wishes have been granted. Farewell."
Porunga dissolved into light and split into seven stones, scattering across Namek once again.
After some parting words, Dende agreed to travel to Earth and become its new Guardian.
"We'll take our leave now," Rayden said.
"Farewell," the Great Elder replied.
Rayden and the others placed their hands on him as he activated Instant Transmission.
---
Swish!
They arrived at the Temple of the Gods on Earth.
In a small house within the temple grounds, the old Kami meditated. After much thought, he finally decided to merge with Piccolo, allowing the warrior's strength to increase exponentially.
Meanwhile, Dende and Mr. Popo worked to repair the Earth's Dragon Balls. Now, they could grant three wishes—and even revive people who had died more than once.
Standing before the restored Dragon Balls, Rayden raised his voice. "Come forth, Shenron! Grant my wishes!"
The seven Earth Dragon Balls glowed. Light surged into the sky as Shenron appeared, his eyes burning red.
"You who have summoned me, state your wishes."
Rayden's voice rang out: "Shenron, please revive Son Goku, who died from a heart virus."
"A simple request," Shenron replied.
In a flash of light, Goku's body reappeared in the ruins—fully alive.
"Your wish has been granted. State your second wish."
Rayden continued, "Restore the Earth to its original state, before the androids destroyed it."
"Another simple request," Shenron said.
Within a minute, the scarred planet was restored to its former beauty.
"Your wish has been granted. One final wish remains."
Rayden raised his voice again. "Shenron, please revive all humans killed by the androids!"
Shenron hovered in silence for a moment, then nodded.
"This wish is also simple."
His eyes glowed again. All over Earth, people who had been killed began returning to life.
Three minutes later, Shenron's body shone once more.
"Your wishes have been granted. Farewell!"
He vanished, and the Dragon Balls turned to stone before scattering once more.
Rayden turned to Dende, who stood nearby. "Dende, come with us. Let's go meet the others—Goku and the rest."
Dende smiled warmly. "Okay!"
Back on Namek, Dende had mourned for days when he heard that Gohan, Krillin, and others had died. Now, joy had returned to his heart.
Rayden took Broly and Paragus, disappearing from the temple with Instant Transmission. Goku and the others followed.
---
Swish! Swish!
They appeared in front of Bulma's house.
"Trunks, you really did it!" Bulma said, overwhelmed with emotion. Her years of effort had finally paid off—against all odds, they had changed the future.
Rayden walked up to Trunks and patted him on the shoulder.
"Trunks, release your aura. Let your father and Goku sense you."
"Got it, Uncle Rayden!"
Trunks clenched his fists. "Haaah!"
With a shout, he transformed into Super Saiyan 2. A powerful aura burst out, shaking the atmosphere.
"Whoa! Who is that? That aura is insane!" Goku said from afar.
Swish!
Future Goku used Instant Transmission and appeared next to Trunks.
Krillin looked around, stunned. "Who brought us back? What's going on?"
Yamcha pointed toward Trunks. "There's a powerful energy over there—let's check it out!"
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Soon, Gohan, Vegeta, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu flew in from all directions.
"Ahhh!" Future Goku pointed at present-day Goku. "Why do you look exactly like me?"
"Hmph," Future Vegeta grunted.
Krillin looked from one face to another. "Wait, how are there two Gokus? Two Vegetas? Two Gohans and Piccolos?!"
Rayden raised a hand. "Trunks, explain everything to them."
After Trunks explained, the confusion disappeared. The future and the present had finally met in harmony.
"Trunks, you've done an incredible job," Future Gohan said, placing a hand on his shoulder.
"Gohan-nii!" Trunks couldn't hold back his tears. Memories of Future Gohan sacrificing himself flooded his mind. He hugged Gohan tightly, crying openly.
"Gohan, I'm so glad you're back!" Dende said, his eyes welling with tears.
"Thank you, Dende," Future Gohan said warmly.
Rayden reached into his storage ring and pulled out ten glowing spirit fruits. He handed them to Future Goku and Bulma.
"Eat these—they'll make you younger and extend your lifespan."
"Goku, give one to Chi-Chi," he added with a smile.
"Thank you, Rayden!" Future Goku and Bulma looked truly grateful.
Rayden then suggested, "Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Piccolo—why don't your future selves stay here and train with you?"
"Really?!" Future Goku asked.
Present-day Vegeta eyed his future self and smirked. "Heh. I'd love to knock some strength into my past self."
"Then stay for a month. I'll come pick you up later," Rayden said.
With a wave of his hand, a shimmering dimensional wall appeared.
"Uncle Rayden, goodbye!" Trunks waved as Rayden, Broly, and Paragus stepped through the portal.
---
After their departure, everyone gathered at Bulma's house and threw a huge party.
Future Goku even brought Chi-Chi and Master Roshi. As they laughed and shared stories, they realized just how painful and difficult the future timeline had been. But now, there was finally peace.
The night passed peacefully.
---
The Next Day
The warriors of both timelines gathered on an island for sparring.
Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, and Piccolo trained with their future selves, pushing each other to new heights.
Meanwhile, Trunks took charge of training Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu.
Hope had returned—not just to Earth, but to the future as well.
