GT Son Goku asked aloud, "Rayden, is that person Android 17?"
Everyone turned toward Rayden, waiting for his answer.
Rayden shook his head and explained calmly, "That's not just Android 17. He's the fusion of Android 17 from Hell and Android 17 from Earth. Together, they've become Super Android 17."
"Super Android 17?!" Everyone exclaimed in unison.
"That's right. This fusion—and everything that's happened—was part of Dr. Gero's plan."
"But Dr. Gero's already been eliminated," Vegeta said, narrowing his eyes. "Now there's only Super 17 left."
"Damn that Gero," GT Piccolo growled, clenching his fists. "Even in Hell, he refuses to stay quiet."
---
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Cell and Super 17 continued their ferocious battle in midair.
Cell landed a clean punch across Super 17's face, causing him to stagger. In retaliation, Super 17 unleashed a powerful kick, folding Cell's body like a shrimp.
"Their fight is insane!" said the two Gokus—GT and main timeline—almost in sync. "I really want to jump in!"
Hearing the noise and chatter from the sidelines, Cell turned his head in irritation—only to be sucker-punched by Super 17, sending him flying.
"Can't I have some dignity?" Cell muttered, quickly steadying himself midair. He adjusted his position and charged again.
Bang!
Their fists collided once more, both warriors sent flying from the force. Without pause, Cell formed a glowing, disc-like blade in his palm.
"Destructo Disc!"
The glowing energy disc flew toward Super 17. However, Super 17 stood perfectly still, not even trying to dodge.
Cell narrowed his eyes.
He has to stay still to absorb energy...
Spotting the weakness, Cell used Instant Transmission, appearing behind Super 17 and kicking him straight into the path of the spinning disc.
Slice!
"Arghhh!"
Super 17's leg was severed. He crashed to the ground, gritting his teeth in pain.
"Hahaha!" Cell laughed. "What happened to that big talk? Weren't you going to absorb my energy? Why didn't you try just now?"
"You bastard!" Super 17 snarled, flying back into the sky. He charged dark energy between his hands, forming a black, crackling ball.
"Hell Bomb!"
Cell gathered energy at his waist, preparing to retaliate.
"Kamehameha!"
BOOM!
The two attacks collided midair, generating a colossal shockwave that lit up the sky.
Taking advantage of the smoke and chaos, Cell flashed forward, grabbed Super 17, and used Instant Transmission to vanish—leaving the battlefield behind.
---
"What just happened?" GT Gohan asked, confused. "Why did Cell take Super 17 away?"
A sudden explosion echoed through space, far beyond Earth.
Moments later, Cell returned using Instant Transmission, landing smoothly in front of everyone.
GT Goku rushed forward. "Cell! That noise just now—was that Super 17 being destroyed?"
Cell replied with indifference. "I took him to a random uninhabited planet and blew it up. Super 17's been vaporized."
"Self-destruction?!" Everyone from both timelines was shocked.
Rayden crossed his arms and nodded slightly. "Super 17 had near-limitless energy. Cell must've realized dragging the fight out was pointless. Eliminating him in one shot was the most efficient choice."
With the crisis finally resolved, the warriors returned to GT Bulma's house to rest.
---
Meanwhile, GT Goku and his friends had already collected all seven Dragon Balls and laid them out in Bulma's front yard. The glowing orbs pulsed with energy, casting an orange hue across the grass.
GT Goku stepped forward and shouted, "Come out, Shenron! Grant our wish!"
The sky darkened immediately, and a dense, black smoke billowed out from the Dragon Balls. The smoke twisted and morphed, forming a terrifying figure—a Shenron, but not like any they had seen before.
This version had wings, an evil aura, and was casually puffing on a cigar.
"...Aunt Bulma, is that really Shenron?" Pan asked, clearly disturbed. "Why is he smoking a cigar?"
GT Bulma squinted. "I—I'm not sure. He definitely didn't look like that before... But since he came from the Dragon Balls, he must be Shenron... right?"
GT Goku stepped forward confidently. "Shenron! Please bring back all the people who died in this battle!"
The dark dragon smirked, removing the cigar from his mouth. He blew smoke rings toward the group and said in a gravelly voice:
"This dragon is not Shenron. I am the Evil Dragon."
"Evil Dragon?!"
Cough! Cough! The entire group gagged on the pungent smoke, their faces filled with disbelief.
"That's right," said the dragon proudly. "From now on, I will never obey the commands of you mortals again!"
"You won't obey...?" GT Bulma asked, stunned. "Are you saying Dragon Balls won't grant wishes anymore?"
"Correct," Evil Shenron said with a sinister smile. "In fact... I plan to destroy the Earth."
With that declaration, the black dragon dissolved into smoke and split into seven orbs, which shot off in all directions across the planet.
"They scattered again? And the wish wasn't granted?!" GT Trunks was stunned.
GT Bulma stared at the sky. "Is Shenron really capable of destroying the Earth?"
From a distance, Broly asked, "Rayden, why is this dragon different from the usual Shenron?"
Rayden answered gravely, "That wasn't the true Shenron. That was a Negative Energy Dragon—a being born from corrupted energy."
"The Dragon Balls weren't meant to be used frequently. Every time a wish is granted, a little bit of negative energy is stored inside. Normally, it dissipates over time... but if you make too many wishes too fast..."
"The cracks on the Dragon Balls were signs," Rayden continued. "The negative energy reached its breaking point. The Evil Dragon is the result."
"Wait... so he really will destroy the Earth?" GT Bulma asked hesitantly.
Rayden nodded. "Yes."
---
Suddenly, a familiar voice echoed in their minds.
"What that young man said is absolutely correct."
"Old Supreme Kai?!" GT Goku looked up.
"Yes, Goku. I was watching when you summoned Shenron just now. I warned you long ago—Dragon Balls go against the natural laws. But you didn't listen. Especially you, Bulma."
"Me?" GT Bulma blinked in confusion.
"Of course! You invented the Dragon Radar. Before that, it took people years to collect the Dragon Balls. But now? Anyone can gather them in days!"
"Each wish builds up negative energy. Originally, the Dragon Balls only granted one wish—giving time for that energy to purify. But you modified them to grant three wishes at once!"
The Old Kai's voice grew louder with frustration.
"You tampered with sacred relics and ignored the risks! Now, an Evil Dragon has appeared. Who else is to blame but you?!"
GT Bulma quickly deflected. "I may have made the radar, but I'm just a woman! Without Goku and the others, I couldn't have done anything with it!"
"Alright, alright..." GT Goku scratched his head awkwardly. "It's really my fault anyway."
"Old Supreme Kai, what should we do now?"
The Kai sighed. "You must defeat the Evil Dragons, Goku. Only then can the Dragon Balls be purified."
"Defeat them and recover the seven Dragon Balls?" Goku asked.
"Yes. But don't underestimate them," the Old Kai warned. "Each dragon has unique powers and immense strength."
GT Goku stretched his arms and grinned. "Don't worry, I'll take care of it. I'll collect the Dragon Balls again!"
The Old Kai groaned. "Goku, you haven't changed at all…"
He sighed again. "Fine. Just find the seven Dragon Balls before the universe is torn apart."
GT Goku gave a determined nod and a thumbs-up. "I promise, Old Kai! I'll fix this!"
With that, the Old Supreme Kai cut the communication.
