Whoosh!
With a gust of wind, Long Yi flew out of the palace and landed in front of the group.
"Rayden, you've finally arrived! Lord Salama is waiting for you inside. Let's talk as we walk."
He turned and began leading everyone toward the palace.
"Uncle, is your dragon head real?" Son Goten asked with a puzzled expression. It was his first time seeing a being with a dragon's head and a human's body.
"Goten, don't you think it's super cool?" Trunks chimed in, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
"Long Yi, they're just kids. Please don't take offense," Rayden said, shaking his head helplessly at the boys' behavior.
"Haha, it's fine! Every time someone visits the Dragon God Realm for the first time, they're shocked by how we look," Long Yi replied, clearly amused by their curiosity.
Rayden then asked, "So, what exactly does Lord Salama want to discuss with us?"
"I'm not entirely sure," Long Yi admitted. "But lately, the Super Dragon Balls from various timelines have been used a lot. Lord Salama thinks it might be connected to you and wants you to take care of it."
Rayden's eyes widened in surprise. The Super Dragon Balls? Used frequently?
He muttered under his breath, "But I've only used them twice..."
As they continued walking, Trunks pointed excitedly at one of the palace guards.
"Goten, check out that guard's weapon! It looks awesome! I want one too!"
"Yes!" Goten agreed instantly, nodding.
"Haha! If you both like it, I'll have one made for each of you later," Long Yi said, amused by their enthusiasm.
"Yeah! Thanks, Uncle Dragon!" the boys cheered, jumping up with excitement.
---
After a short walk around the majestic corridors, they finally arrived at the heart of the palace.
There, seated on the throne, was a towering dragon man over three meters tall. His entire body was covered in shimmering golden scales. Two long, golden horns curved upward from his head, and his muscular form radiated immense power and a commanding aura.
Standing below him, in front of the throne, was another dragon man who closely resembled Long Yi. He stood respectfully, arms behind his back, like a soldier awaiting orders.
Trunks and Goten's curiosity was about to get the best of them—they tried to run closer for a better look. But Broly and Cell quickly moved in and grabbed them by the collars.
"You two, stop causing trouble!" Cell said sternly.
"Okay, Uncle Broly!" both boys responded with guilty smiles.
From the throne, Salama rose and approached the group with a smile.
"Rayden, it's good to see you!"
Rayden returned the smile and asked, "Salama, what's going on? I'm not exactly the strongest person to handle some grand emergency."
Salama chuckled and waved his hand. "Don't worry—it's not a crisis. But recently, we've noticed an alarming pattern. The Super Dragon Balls across multiple timelines have been used repeatedly. And in each case, a man named Zamasu was the one making the wishes."
He paused, then continued.
"This Zamasu has been making wishes to switch bodies—not just with you, Rayden, but with others like Broly and Cell."
Rayden raised an eyebrow. "Wait… me?"
Salama nodded. "Yes. But there's only one version of you across all timelines, unlike Broly and Cell, who exist in many parallel worlds. So, when Zamasu couldn't take your body, he used the Super Dragon Balls to switch with other versions of Broly and Cell instead."
"What the hell is he planning?" Cell muttered, his eyes narrowing.
Broly spoke up, frowning. "Wait, wasn't the guy who fought my father in Universe 10 also named Zamasu? He said he was a candidate Supreme Kai. Aren't Supreme Kais supposed to be the good guys? I don't think he'd do something like this."
Cell shook his head in frustration. "Looks like we were wrong. Maybe it is the same guy after all."
Rayden frowned deeply. He had assumed Zamasu would make a move after the tournament between Universe 6 and 7. But it seemed that when they'd fought Rumsshi in Universe 10, their strength had pushed Zamasu over the edge—and he decided to act early.
Rayden turned to Cell and said, "It's the same guy, Cell. Don't let his title fool you. Zamasu might be a candidate for Supreme Kai, but he's incredibly cunning and dangerous."
Cell's expression twisted with fury. "That bastard! He swapped my body? And Broly's too? Let's go find him and settle this right now!"
Salama laughed lightly at Cell's reaction, then added, "Rayden, the reason I called you here is simple. I need you to stop this Zamasu before things get out of hand. He's been using the Super Dragon Balls across multiple timelines, and if he keeps doing this, it could corrupt Super Shenron."
"What do you mean by 'corrupt'?" Goten asked, clearly confused.
Salama looked at the young boy kindly. "If a Dragon Ball is misused repeatedly with selfish, harmful wishes, its corresponding Shenron can become evil. If Super Shenron turns, then all timelines—past, present, and future—could collapse."
Goten tilted his head. "But Uncle, aren't you and your guards super strong? Why don't you stop Zamasu?"
"Hahahaha!" Salama roared with laughter. Then he calmly explained, "Little one, we can't leave the Dragon God Realm. If we could, I'd have sent someone to squash Zamasu with one slap when we first sensed him."
"Wait, you can't leave?" Trunks blinked in confusion. "Why not? Isn't it boring to stay in one place forever?"
Broly gently ruffled Trunks's hair. "Trunks, that's not something a kid needs to worry about."
"Uncle Broly! My hair!" Trunks swatted his hand away and scurried over to Rayden's side.
Rayden was still trying to process the situation. "So, how many Zamasus are out there using the Super Dragon Balls?"
Salama frowned. "That's the tricky part. Super Shenron says they all look identical. But based on the information gathered, we believe there are at least a dozen versions of Zamasu acting independently."
Rayden's expression darkened. "So it's not just one rogue Kai. It's a multiverse of them…"
Salama nodded gravely. "Exactly. It's impossible to track them all. But if even one continues using the Super Dragon Balls, the danger remains."
"Salama, we can only deal with the Zamasu from our timeline and maybe the future. But we can't touch the ones from alternate universes. Some of them escaped during battle using time rings. I can't even locate them anymore."
He clenched his fists. "Even if I could find them, they'd just flee through time and space again."
Salama sighed. "I understand. Still, I'm counting on you."
Rayden was silent for a moment, until Long Yi—who had been quietly listening—finally lost his temper.
"Lord Salama, with all due respect, we need to step in! Ever since Grand Zeno vanished, his son has done nothing. The Realm of Time is failing in their duties too. They haven't caught a single time-traveling intruder!"
Long Er joined in supportively. "He's right! If we keep sitting here, those troublemakers will think we're weak!"
Salama rubbed his chin thoughtfully, clearly torn between rules and responsibility.
