Subaru is sent to Ellior forest 1 year and 3 months before the canon events of the story. Return by death isnt his only power this time as he also discovers that along with yin magic. He is able to create illusions. After 3 months he and emilia - who is now contracted with puck- meet after he almost dies. More things happen earlier than intended and events play out differently with the presence of a boy who shouldn't be here.
