I stepped out from behind the desk and whispered to Cherry, "This is my family's matter. I'll go with the tax authorities. You handle things at the company, and try to stop anyone from jumping to conclusions."
"Alright, I got it." Cherry nodded, looking worried.
I smiled slightly, "Don't worry, I know what I'm doing. It'll be fine."
After arranging the work briefly, I left with the tax authorities.
