Chapter 451 - Chapter 451: Tear Ticket Ride: Requiem

Ryosuke summoned Made in Heaven.

"This kind?"

Jotaro shook his head slightly. "It's still a bit short."

He had read Dio's diary. It recorded in detail the method to reach heaven, as well as the power one could grasp after reaching that realm... To decide everything.

This was not a play on words. It was, in the truest sense, the power to decide everything.

Listening to Jotaro's description, Ryosuke nodded.

Made in Heaven did indeed touch the realm of "heaven."

When time accelerated to its limit, and everything in the world poured into a spacetime singularity, the owner of Made in Heaven could perform a certain degree of operations on that singularity.

Adjust, modify, even destroy.

That was the power to decide everything.

However, the process was far too brief, and the early acceleration phase was relatively long, so it could only be considered touching the edge of "going to heaven."

"I read Dio's diary. Going to heaven requires six conditions. Simply put, they are..."

Condition one, Dio's Stand, The World. The path The World walks is the path of human evolution.

Condition two, a trustworthy friend.

Condition three, the souls of thirty-six extremely evil people.

Condition four, fourteen secret phrases.

Condition five, "courage." In order to reach a new realm, one must dare to abandon one's own Stand and soul.

The final condition, the correct time and place. Go to 28 degrees 24 minutes north latitude, 80 degrees 36 minutes west longitude, and wait for the next "new moon." When that time comes, heaven will not be far.

"…Those are the six conditions for going to heaven," Jotaro said.

Ryosuke was very familiar with the plot of Stone Ocean. Comparing things, he realized that Father Pucci's Made in Heaven had actually taken a shortcut. In terms of conditions, Made in Heaven only satisfied conditions three, four, five, and six.

Conditions one and two were barely substituted by Dio's bone, which created the Green Baby.

Perhaps because of this, in terms of combat performance, Made in Heaven was one level weaker than Dio's The World Over Heaven.

Jotaro said seriously, "Star Platinum and The World are the same type of Stand."

"Along the way, the Saint's Corpse has also absorbed quite a few enemy souls."

"I'm already old, not as sharp as I was when I was young."

"But Ryosuke, you might be able to sense Dio's abilities in battle and gradually grasp the power of 'Over Heaven.'"

"That is…"

Jotaro spoke a name, "Star Platinum Over Heaven."

Ryosuke fell into deep thought.

After obtaining the Ink of Fate, he could see many different Stands and their abilities and forms when advancing to Requiem.

Among them, the notes for "Star Platinum Requiem" clearly stated, 'Once you choose the "Requiem" evolution path, you cannot choose any other evolution path.'

Previously, Ryosuke had wondered how there could be new evolution paths beyond Requiem.

Now it seemed that perhaps it was what Jotaro called Over Heaven.

But a problem lay before Ryosuke.

He was not like Kujo Jotaro.

Ryosuke did not have the cheat input of "Looks like we're the same type of Stand," then copying Dio's Stand ability.

If he wanted his Stand to evolve, he had to follow the established process.

Dimensional Ascension Star Cores, Ink of Fate, or gambling on luck at the Wheel of Fortune.

In short, good things like evolving just by shouting like a hot-blooded anime protagonist would not easily fall to Ryosuke.

"If I want to step into heaven, perhaps the only way is to walk through Dio's process once."

"But time does not allow it."

"And with Paisley Park's all-angle surveillance, Dio would never give me that chance."

Ryosuke shook his head and gave up on that idea.

Compared to Star Platinum Over Heaven, Ryosuke thought of the power he had sensed from the Naruto world in the evil spirit space of the Not-Returning Alley.

A power born of will and belief… unimaginably vast.

As Ryosuke was thinking, he suddenly sensed an abnormal stagnation in the golden glow of the Saint's Corpse.

Above the golden light skiff, a thick layer of gloom gathered.

Along with it came an invisible cold that made one's hair stand on end from the depths of the heart.

"Something's wrong!"

Ryosuke abruptly looked up ahead.

Too late.

A wall formed of condensed black light suddenly appeared in front of them. Almost at the very moment it formed, the golden light skiff crashed straight into it, giving Ryosuke and Jotaro no time to react with time stop.

BOOM!

The golden light that purified everything and the black light that defiled all things canceled each other out.

The golden light skiff shattered with a bang.

Driven by inertia, everyone was flung in all directions.

"Star Platinum: The World!"

Ryosuke and Jotaro each activated time stop, rescuing their teammates who had been scattered in different directions.

In the overly silent frozen-time space, the sound of clicking footsteps echoed. Ryosuke looked toward the source of the steps...

A tall, upright figure walked forward.

The sea of mist obscured the visitor's form, but it could not hide the condescending gaze, the contemptuous and arrogant cold smile, and the undisguised malice.

With every step he took, black light spread, and the sea of mist trembled.

Whoosh!

A hand waved lightly, tearing apart the mist and revealing a pale, handsome face.

Dio Brando.

Time stop ended.

As everyone came back to their senses from the sudden collision, they felt a chilling gaze sweep over them.

They looked toward Dio standing high above.

Though they had long prepared themselves to fight to the death, actually seeing Dio in person still brought an indescribable pressure that made them instinctively hold their breath.

The faint sound of hoofbeats came, and Father Pucci followed closely, appearing beside Dio.

"Ryosuke."

"Jotaro."

"And…"

Dio's gaze shifted.

"A bunch of small fry."

"Do you really think that what you've done can affect my plan?"

Dio might look careless, but in truth, he was cautious to the extreme, and he understood that in any undertaking, it was impossible to cover everything. The more one tried to cover everything, the more likely mistakes would appear everywhere.

His choice was to focus on the big things and let the small things go.

The big things were naturally the Calamity God Tree and his parallel-world selves.

Letting go of the small things meant the Saint's Corpse and the subordinates scattered around.

As long as the core work was not affected, Dio's plan could proceed smoothly.

As for Ryosuke's group, who had obtained eight pieces of the Saint's Corpse…

"Your souls, strengthened by the Saint's Corpse, will become the steps for me to further enter heaven. I will trample you beneath my feet, and you will never rise again!"

"Heh..."

A scoffing laugh cut off Dio's pre-battle declaration.

Ryosuke took out the Arrow.

A drop of Ink of Fate fell onto the arrowhead, erupting into boundless multicolored radiance.

He turned back to look at the barrier formed by trees, then at the black light filling the sea of mist, made his choice, and summoned the Tear Ticket Ride.

Chi!

The Arrow pierced into the Tear Blade.

The Ink of Fate vanished.

Seven-colored radiance poured into the Tear Blade.

The next second, the tears faded, revealing a golden paper ticket.

Tear Ticket Ride: Requiem.
