Fingers trembling, she undid the buttons and slipped her shoulders out. The dress pooled around her ankles and she heard Garrett's groan. She watched in the mirror as his gaze caressed the length of her body. He moved forward and lightly rubbed his arousal on her bottom.
She heard him take a deep breath, then he moved backward. The obvious strain on his control made woman-power rush through her veins.
"That looks ... new," he said.
"I bought this a year ago. I just took it out of the package tonight. For you."
For a moment, all she could hear was the pounding of her heart and the soft hiss of the candles burning. Then she saw his eyes flare with desire as he slipped a finger under one strap of the teddy and slowly edged it down. His eyes caught hers in the mirror and she watched, mesmerized, as he leaned forward and placed a soft kiss on her shoulder.
"You smell like roses," he whispered in her ear before gently tugging on her lobe with his lips.
