"Brother Shiraha, are you shy? You're so cute."

Yoruichi accepted the clothes he had tossed her, slipping them on with deliberate leisure, the faintest smile curving her lips.

"Put them on properly, and don't ever do this in front of others, do you hear me?" Shiraha's frown deepened as he spoke, his voice low with restrained seriousness.

"Got it, got it. You're always so strict." Yoruichi's amber eyes glinted mischievously as she leaned closer. "But Brother Shiraha, you almost forgot about your Reiatsu perception, didn't you? You've already seen everything—now you'll have to take responsibility." She blew gently against his ear, her tone dripping with playful mischief.

Yoruichi knew full well how composed Shiraha usually was, how rarely he lost his calm. Yet now, after he had accidentally glimpsed her true form, his flustered reaction was too precious for her to resist teasing.

"Miss Yoruichi, don't speak such nonsense."

Regaining his composure, Shiraha caught her hand, his lips curved in a faint smile as though to brush aside her provocation. His Observation Haki traced the refined lines of her figure beneath the black combat suit she now wore, her elegant frame and delicate features accentuated by the tight weave of the cloth.

"Well, well," Yoruichi teased, utterly unbothered by his touch, "if you insist, I'll only let you see in the future. Satisfied?"

Her tone was light, but there was warmth hidden beneath it. After years spent in this world together, Yoruichi's fondness for Shiraha had deepened into something more intimate. And with her carefree nature, she had never cared about his gaze lingering upon her.

Shiraha quietly released her hand. He didn't reply—he knew all too well that if he answered, she would twist his words into something else entirely.

"These clothes are too tight. I haven't worn them in ages
it feels strange." Yoruichi tugged at the collar of her outfit, deftly shifting the subject with her usual ease. She crouched beside Ichigo, whose breathing was shallow, his body still bleeding. "Brother Shiraha, you were really ruthless. It'll take him a long time to recover."

"If I had used Hadƍ no KyĆ«jƫ—Kurohitsugi—directly on him, he would already be dead. For now, he is only wounded. That is mercy enough." Shiraha's tone carried both certainty and the faint edge of warning. Against Zaraki Kenpachi, Ichigo had managed to endure. Against him, there would have been nothing left but silence.

"Exactly." Yoruichi fetched bottles of medicine and rolls of bandages from a shelf. Her hands moved with practiced care as she treated Ichigo's injuries. After a while she sat back, dusting her palms together with a satisfied smile. "All done."

Then her expression shifted, curiosity sharpening her voice. "Brother Shiraha, can you tell me now why you concealed the truth from Captain Unohana and Kyoraku? How did you even know about Aizen?"

On the battlefield earlier, Yoruichi had chosen to support Shiraha's deception rather than expose it. She trusted he had his reasons, but her own curiosity burned. For him to know of Kyƍka Suigetsu's terrifying ability before Aizen had revealed it was no small matter.

"Miss Yoruichi, do you believe anyone could see the future?" Shiraha's gaze grew steady, his voice solemn. He had been prepared for this question.

"See the future? Stop joking. No one—" Yoruichi cut herself off mid-sentence. Memories of Shiraha's precise words, his warnings that had proven true, surged back into her mind. Her amber eyes widened in dawning realization. "Don't tell me
the reason you know Aizen's shikai ability
is because you can predict what's to come?"

"Yes." His voice did not waver. "Since childhood, my blind eyes have granted me glimpses of fractured futures. Through them, I learned of Kyƍka Suigetsu's illusion."

Half-truth, half-lie—yet convincing enough. Shiraha's awareness of the plot's course could indeed be likened to fragments of prophecy. Compared to Yhwach's Schrift, the Almighty—true omniscience and omnipotence—his insight was faint and scattered. But to others, even shards of the future were unfathomable.

"No wonder
" Yoruichi exhaled, the pieces aligning in her mind. "No wonder you could name Kyƍka Suigetsu's ability before anyone else. No wonder even Urahara's Hƍgyoku couldn't restore your sight. It's because those eyes are tied to the future itself."

Her tone was hushed with awe. The Soul Society had scoured Shiraha's history after his revelation, seeking the source of his knowledge, but found nothing. Even Urahara's half-finished Hƍgyoku, capable of fulfilling wishes, had failed to heal him—a near impossibility. Now, she understood.

"Brother Shiraha," Yoruichi finally asked after a long silence, her teasing completely gone, "why would you reveal such a secret to me? Aren't you afraid I might expose it?"

"Because I trust Miss Yoruichi as deeply as Miss Yoruichi has trusted me." Shiraha's faint smile carried a quiet weight.

The truth was simpler: even if she did tell others, it would matter little. At worst, he would lay the burden of his knowledge upon this supposed ability to foresee. But Yoruichi didn't need to know that.

Her amber gaze softened, touched by the sincerity in his words. "Brother Shiraha, thank you
for your trust." For someone like him, whose secrets could alter the balance of Soul Society, to entrust such a truth to her—how could she not be moved?

"Miss Yoruichi," Shiraha said gently, "you are the first to know. I hope this remains a secret between us."

"Of course." She nodded solemnly, then added, "Even from Urahara. Especially him."

She knew Kisuke too well. If he learned Shiraha could peer into the future, his scientific obsession would not rest until Shiraha himself was reduced to an object of study. No, this secret was theirs alone.

Between the two of them, it would be kept.
