Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1: ONE COLD RAINY NIGHT

In a realm suspended between the ordinary and the extraordinary, the capital city of Celestian thrived under the watchful gaze of its unseen guardians. Once, Lucas Shadow and Lanya Light reigned as deities of existence, bestowing life and balance upon the world. However, their transcendence left their four children, the minor deities of the elements, in charge of maintaining harmony among mortals.

Fiammetta, the fierce deity of fire, ignited passion in the hearts of warriors. Nixie, the gentle deity of water, brought comfort and healing. Hayate, the swift deity of wind, whispered secrets of freedom and change. And Demitrius, the steadfast deity of earth, anchored their world with strength and resilience. Together, they created a group known as The League of Enders, a diverse coalition tasked with preserving the delicate equilibrium of existence.

Gus Benton, a muscular middle-aged man, stood as the leader of The League of Enders. His commanding presence inspired unwavering loyalty among the thousands of warriors who followed him into the shadows. Beside him was Jennifer Griffith, a middle-aged witch and his second-in-command, whose keen intuition and magical prowess guided their missions. Together, they sought to protect the innocent from the malevolence lurking in the dark—a task made all the more challenging by the rise of sinister factions.

Among these factions was the Shadow Wolf Organization, led by Rid Kai Yon, a fierce werewolf shrouded in legend. With his band of elite werewolf fighters, he sought to manipulate the balance of power, to unleash chaos upon Celestian. Meanwhile, the Vampiric High Order, ruled by the powerful matriarch Ket Shi Kong, conspired to plunge the world into an age of darkness, using their ancient magic to ensnare both mortals and supernatural beings alike.

In this tempest of conflict, the Witche Coven of Lock-Loopers, led by the enigmatic Alexandria E-mete, sought to control the balance of magic, while the Libraban Order of Demons, helmed by Fi-six, the demon king, craved dominion over both the supernatural and mortal realms. Each faction's ambition threatened to unravel the very fabric of existence, and it was up to The League of Enders to thwart their malevolent designs.

As the League's warriors moved through the shadows, two of their most skilled commanders emerged: Jack Wolfect and his little sister, Tatana. Trained in the art of ninjutsu, they executed stealth missions against rival factions, gathering intelligence and disrupting sinister plans. Their bond was unbreakable, forged in the fires of adversity

One cold rainy night in the city of Celestian, a twenty-five-year-old man named Breaton Goodheart was driving home from his job as a security guard at the local mall. This was also his last day at work, and he was excited because his vacation was about to begin. His one-bedroom apartment was nestled in the heart of the bustling city, a place where dreams were made and often shattered. Breaton, with his tousled brown hair and warm hazel eyes, was known among his co-workers for his good looks and kind-hearted nature. Yet, he was also the target of playful teasing, often ridiculed for being single and a virgin.

"Breaton, you are a handsome young man. You need a girlfriend!" Tana Wilson, a middle-aged woman with a flair for flirting, would often say. Her eyes sparkled with mischief as she added, "If I was still young, I'd marry you and show you the time of your life!"

"Don't listen to that old cougar," Patrick McCannon chimed in with a smile. He was around Breaton's age and often served as a buffer to the teasing. "One day, you'll find a nice woman, and then you'll get laid!"

Marry Winco, another co-worker, would shake her head disapprovingly. "Hey! Can you guys just leave him alone? The man will get laid sooner or later!" This would send the group into a fit of laughter while Breaton chuckled along but never let their comments get to him. He was content in his own skin and believed that love would come when the time was right.

As he continued his drive home, lost in thought, a young woman suddenly dashed out in front of his car, her briefcase flailing like a flag in a storm. He slammed on the brakes, but it was too late. The impact was jarring, and panic surged through him.

"Oh shit! I need to see if that person is alright," he thought, quickly stopping the car and leaping out into the pouring rain.

As he approached, he saw the beautiful young woman lying on the street, and his heart raced with fear. But before he could reach her, she stood up, brushing herself off with a frown.

"Are you the one that hit me just now?" she asked, her voice a mixture of annoyance and disbelief.

"Yes! I was, but it wasn't entirely my fault! You ran into the middle of the road!" he exclaimed, guilt gnawing at him. "Let me take you to the hospital."

"Oh, I see," she replied, crossing her arms. "He's not an Ender; he's just a stupid mortal man. But that's just what I need." Her thoughts swirled with hidden meanings that Breaton couldn't grasp.

"No! There's no need for a hospital. Just take me somewhere I can get out of these wet clothes and find a warm place to sleep," she insisted, her frown softening slightly.

"Okay, I guess you can come with me, but I still think you should see a doctor," Breaton said, concern edging his voice. He led her to his car, and as the rain dripped from her hair, he learned her name was Olissa Eills.

As they drove away, five shadowy figures dressed in black appeared from the darkness, their presence almost spectral. If anyone had seen them, they would have assumed they were cosplayers, but they were members of The League of Enders. Their mission was shrouded in secrecy, and they had been tracking a witch who was carrying a briefcase for some time. As she caught wind of them, she started running toward the road.

"Damn it! She got away, and we were so close to killing her too," the first figure, a man named Elar, snarled, his voice a low growl.

"What should we do now? Since that b*tch got away, who knows what she'll do?" A woman's voice, sharp with frustration, cut through the rain. Her teeth gnashed audibly; her name was Joss.

"We need to report this to the higher-ups." Elar pulled out a phone, its screen a tiny beacon in the gloom. He pressed a contact. The phone rang three times before a voice, laced with sleep-deprived irritation, answered.

"Hello Joss? No wait this is Elar's number! You better have a good reason for waking me up, Elar." Miss Tatana Wolfect's voice was as precise as a freshly honed blade.
