Chapter 96 - Sunlight and Shadows

After studying in the Seminary for six years, Elijah decided to leave the place.

Because he was only seventeen and had lived away from the normal high school life, it was hard for him to mingle with the boisterous crowd.

That too, when they were utterly curious about him.

From his face to his past, there was nothing that didn't excite them.

So, teenage Elijah did the best thing he could at that time. Cram his high school years into one and a half.

When he told his intention to his class teacher, she couldn't exactly believe it, especially since Elijah hadn't learned anything in a "systematic way."

But Elijah was still as stubborn as ever, not willing to step down.

With his one-track mind, he submerged himself in the sea of books, often staying late in the library.

So much so that when he scored almost full marks, his class teacher was both impressed and worried about Elijah's closed-off personality.
