Father John's office wasn't filled with books like his Professor's, nor was it cluttered with relics or holy weapons, as one might imagine.
Two wooden chairs flanked a large rectangular table, occupying most of the space.
At the edge of the table was the Holy Bible. The edges of the paper were frayed from long-term use.
There were a few shelves lined on the opposite walls, holding the stacks of religious books.
They weren't limited to just one religion.
If someone wanted to find fault by accusing Father John of not having faith, they could easily use these as evidence.
