Chapter 30 - A Partner in Training.

-After we fixed our relationship, a new chapter began for us. - It's been two weeks since then, and the change has been incredible. She's not just a part of my life again; she's now training with me, pushing her limits and discovering her true potential.

- My days are now filled with helping her train. My goal is to help her master her saintess abilities and perfect her mana control.

- We work tirelessly, focusing on increasing her mana reserves, shortening her incantations, and accelerating her healing abilities.

- "Alright, again," I said, my voice firm but encouraging.

"Focus on the flow, not the words. The incantation is just a guide. Feel the mana, become one with it."

- She took a deep breath, her eyes closed in concentration. The air around her began to hum, a soft glow emanating from her hands.

- The incantation she was struggling with before, "By the light of the sacred sun, mend this wound," now flowed effortlessly from her lips.

- The glowing orb in her hands pulsed with power before she directed it at a small cut on a dummy, healing it in an instant.

- A satisfied smile stretched across my face. "See? I knew you could do it. You're a natural."

- She opened her eyes, a triumphant grin mirroring mine. "Thanks Leon! Your training really helped. I never thought I'd be able to do this so quickly."

- "This is just the beginning," I replied, a playful glint in my eyes. "Now for the fun part. Let's see what else you're hiding."

- As our training sessions continued, I started noticing something peculiar.

- While her healing and mana control were improving, there was a specific area where she truly excelled, something she was a complete natural at.

- During a mock combat session between me and Noah, a stray blast of energy came hurtling towards her.

- Instinctively, she thrust her hands forward, and a shimmering, translucent wall of energy appeared, absorbing the impact without even a flicker.

- I was stunned. It wasn't just a simple shield; it was a barrier, a complete and impenetrable wall of pure mana.

- "What was that?" I asked, my voice filled with awe.

- She looked at her hands, just as surprised as I was. "I... I don't know. It just happened. It felt like the right thing to do."

- That's when it hit me. Her specialty isn't just healing. She's a master of Barrier magic, a rare and powerful form of magic that creates impenetrable shields and walls.

- And with her saintess power mixing with it, it can serve as one of the excellent barriers to encounter monsters and demons.

- This discovery has made our training even more exciting, and I can't wait to see what other secrets she holds.

- It wasn't long before we dedicated our training entirely to this new discovery. "Barrier magic isn't just about defense," - I explained one afternoon, as she effortlessly deflected a flurry of my energy bolts. "It's about control, precision. A good barrier can be a weapon, too."

- She nodded, her brow furrowed in concentration. "So, like, a shield that can push back?"

- "Exactly, it can even use as an encounter." I said, my excitement growing. "The possibilities are endless. It all depends on your imagination and mana control."

- We spent the next few days experimenting. She learned to create small, intricate barriers that could deflect individual raindrops.

- She crafted a dome of energy that could withstand the force of a small explosion.

- "This is amazing," she said one evening, looking at the glowing circle around her.

- "I never thought I'd be able to do this. I always thought my powers were just for healing."

- "That's because you were only ever taught to heal," I replied, sitting down beside her.

- "But you're so much more than that. You're a protector, a supporter. The potential you have is limitless."

- She turned to me, her eyes shining with gratitude. "Thank you Leon. For seeing this in me, for not giving up on me."

- I reached out and gently squeezed her hand. "Never. You're my partner, in life and in battle. And I'll always be here to help you become the best version of yourself."

- As the days turned into weeks, her skills grew exponentially.

- She was no longer just my partner; she was a force to be reckoned with.

- Her barriers were stronger, her mana control was more precise, and her confidence was through the roof.

- I knew then that our journey was far from over. This was just the beginning of her story, and I was honored to be a part of it.

- Together, we were a team, ready to face whatever challenges came our way.

- After days of training, one day as we were in the class, our Professor announced, "We're going to a dungeon! And don't worry It's a very simple one. I wouldn't send my best students into a death trap."

- A cold shiver ran down my spine, not from fear, but from a surge of recognition.

- This wasn't a simple dungeon. I knew this one. It was a classic trap. The dungeon, "The Whispering Grove," was filled with simple plant creatures, but at the very end lay the real challenge.

- My mind flashed back to the monster from my previous life

- "He says it's a simple one," I thought, my jaw clenching. "He doesn't know the truth. He doesn't know that this isn't a simple dungeon at all. It's a calculated ambush."

- The professor, oblivious, continued to talk. But all I could see was the hidden threat, the venomous blossoms waiting to claim their next victims.

- This wasn't a game to me anymore. This was a second chance, and I would use every bit of my past knowledge to ensure our survival.
