"Master! Master!" a somewhat small hyena with a distorted appearance and purple fur said hysterically while running into a large open area inside a cave. Within various individuals wandered about looking almost possessed.
A large being sat upon a throne in the center of the cavern, possessing dark gray fur that pooled massively around their form. They were currently staring upwards with an almost bored expression, as their slitted eyes glowed an ominous cyan hue. They had briefly felt a strange disturbance in the multiverse, it was so faint they almost hadn't noticed it. An intruder, but not a very powerful one.
The Dark God's attention turned towards the insolent hyena which interrupted his thoughts. "What is it, Scrap? If you dared to bother me about something unimportant, I will rip your limbs off and feed them to you."
Scrap squeaked in fear at their master's irritation as the cave shook slightly. "I apologize, Master, but it's very important. There's an intruder and he's-"
"Wow, nice place you got here. Well for a cave anyway. How have you been lately, Zielo? It's been centuries since we last met." An echoey voice rang out right behind Scrap who jumped a dozen feet into the air while screaming.
"Wha-wha, how did you get in here?!" Scrap exclaimed as the rather tall lanky blue hedgehog just stood there while smiling. Zielo scowled as he saw the creature in front of him. Great HE was here, how annoying.
"Enough, Scrap. All of you leave now, this will be between me and him." Zielo stated in clear annoyance. All the soulless surrounding him quickly left upon their god's orders. Who was this person to aggravate their god and just how much of a death wish did he have?
"Wow, they're quite loyal aren't they? Then again it's not like they have a choice, what with you owning their souls and all. Honestly, are you really that upset to see me? How mean~" the being said while holding one of their hands to their chest in mock pain.
Zielo growled in annoyance at the provocation. "What do you want, Rewrite? I swear if this is another one of your games I will-"
"Oh no. Not at all. I'm just here to say hi. Also I got a little message from a certain all-seeing king that you might be interested in." Rewrite interrupted while waving his hand around, within which a starry envelope was contained.
Zielo scowled at the interruption (insolent cur), before turning his focus towards the message described. So the Cosmic King had sent a letter to Rewrite of all beings, how interesting.
"I see, but why come here to announce that? It was given to you, not me, unless you're just trying to toy with me." Zielo's annoyed expression turned more aggressive at the end of his inquiry.
Rewrite held both his hands up in mock surrender. "No, nothing like that. Though I won't lie, it did cross my mind. It's because the letter is addressed to both me and you. Can't even open it without you being around, trust me I tried."
"Is that so? Well then give it here, let's see what the 'all-seeing' King of The Cosmos has to say. This better be worth my time, otherwise I'll have the No-Zone burned to the ground." Zielo stated still annoyed but feeling less like committing a genocide. Rewrite just smiled in amusement at the fallen god's mood, screwing with this guy was kind of fun and he had barely even started.
"Okie Dokie. Here you go, your Lordship." Rewrite said in mocking amusement. Zielo ignored the clear attempt to mess with him in favor of the message now in his hands. It looked to be made of materialized starlight, an ever-shifting cosmic menagerie. It was both beautiful and extremely excessive, very much like its creator.
As Zielo read the letter, he couldn't help but become very interested. Normally he couldn't care less about what the rest of the multiverse does. But if this information was correct, considering who it came from it mostly certainly was, this could lead to something very beneficial for him. Though it would require the support of this annoying little abomination.
Zielo addressed the smug little bastard in front of him. "It would appear we have much to discuss. So then shall we begin?"

"What the heck is up with you two? We just came back from scouting out the city and avoiding all those security cams and you look like your whole world view has collapsed or something" Killer stated as he walked into the cabin alongside Horror.
Horror stared at Infinite and Dust who were still in a bit of shock from what they had just seen. "More....dangerous...than...expected?"
"That sums it up rather well. Let's just say this will be a lot harder than first thought. Anyway, I need to CHECK all of you in order to gain an accurate gauge of what we have and what we're up against." Infinite responded while thinking to himself. This system was very convenient at times, though it seemed too similar to a game for his tastes.
Killer grinned at that. "Oh~? So you're going to CHECK me out, huh? My goodness Infinite, I didn't expect you to be so forward~."
"Killer, stop. You've antagonized him enough, besides if you keep going he will actually try to kill you." Dust said in annoyance at Killer's antics.
Killer pouted at that. "Fine. Ruin all my fun why don't ya. Anyway's, sure, let's do it. Just be gentle, okay~."
Infinite said nothing at that, deciding it wasn't worth it to respond. His CHECK was better than theirs, as it provided far more information. Now then, it was time to see what he was working with. This should also prove beneficial in gaining knowledge of their abilities should they ever come to blows.

LV - 19
HP - 258,000
MP - 24,500
ATK - 250
DEF - 240
Race - Monster(Boss)
Soul Trait - DETERMINATION(Average)
Horror is a version of Classic!Sans who underwent a neutral route. At first things had been going rather well, even though Undyne had usurped Toriel and forced her into exile in the ruins. But when the Core started malfunctioning and breaking down, that's when everything started going horribly wrong. After attempting to fix the situation only to be turned on by those he trusted, he suffered a very severe injury that should have killed him. Somehow he lived, albeit changed and no longer who he once was. He would be approached by Nightmare to join him, but initially refused in order to take care of his brother. After his AU was destroyed by Error, he accepted the dark god's proposal. Currently he is curious as to what you found in the city.
Infinite hummed at that. Interesting. His HP and physical stats were extremely high but he expected that. Now for the other one two.
Dust!Sans
LV - 32
HP - 4,800
MP - 338,700
ATK - 120
DEF - 90
Race - Monster(Boss)
Soul Trait - DETERMINATION(Weak)/PERSEVERANCE(Strong)
Dust is a version of Classic!Sans who underwent hundreds of genocide routes non-stop. Eventually his mind cracked after one too many genocides and he decided to end everything himself. After killing everyone in the underground, he faced the human time and time again. Even he didn't know exactly how many times he had fought them and how many RESET's he had gone through. But at some point when he killed the human he had found out that he had killed them permanently. His constant fights had somehow resulted in him slowly siphoning their DETERMINATION away until they didn't have enough to keep going. However he didn't have enough to RESET either and was left all alone in an empty, dead world with only the reminder of his crimes and failures to keep him company. After an unknown amount of time, Nightmare approached him with an offer which he immediately accepted. Currently he is annoyed with your actions and feels like challenging you. He's not as mentally stable as he appears.
Well that was a bit morbid, still though he should look out for this one. Now the last one and arguably the most dangerous of the three.
Killer!Sans
LV - 30
HP - 10,800/54,000
MP - 280,700/1,403,500
ATK - 150/750
DEF - 50/250
Race - Monster(Boss)
Soul Trait - DETERMINATION(Average)/HATE(Strong)(Partially Sealed)
Killer is a version of Classic!Sans who underwent many genocide routes, however due to slight differences he actually started remembering the RESET's earlier than Dust. This caused him to gain the interest of Chara who had gotten bored with the endless genocide loop. Ultimately Killer made a deal with Chara and fought the human with their help killing them and taking their soul. However this left him subject to Chara's influence and by extension their HATE. An addiction to the feeling of EXP and LV rising from killing others eventually caused him to go completely insane, as his fraying morals fought against the desires forced upon his soul. He would eventually destroy Chara and gain full ownership of the soul absorbed, which fused with his own, however by that point it was far too late to undo the damage done. Killer eventually came across Nightmare when he figured out how to move from universe to universe. He attempted to kill the god only to be subdued. Nightmare attempted to gain the skeleton's loyalty only for him to realize his mind was too deranged to be able to think about anything besides killing. Sealing his HATE away until it was required restored much of Killer's sanity, one of the very few acts of kindness Nightmare would ever do. Currently he is interested both in your powers and in seeing how far he can push you before you break.
Infinite felt various emotions upon that last CHECK, anger, discomfort, and slight surprise. Someone had gone through a lot of terrible crap, it was almost depressing. Almost.
"All right then, I have a rough idea of where we stand at in terms of base capabilities, not counting skill and experience, we're slightly above the standard big players in this universe. Bar the three or four wild-cards here, we should be able to handle this." Infinite stated while gesturing at the information presented.
Killer whistled as he looked over the various CHECK's presented. "Man, this is one powerful universe. Stronger monsters, humans with magic, heck even a wizard and a demi-god. How exciting~. Though that SAVE button is going to be a real big problem if the brat figures out how to use it."
"What...A.M.D.? Why...important?" Horror asked in confusion. Which all those present agreed with. They didn't know what this A.M.D. was or why those three wild cards deemed it necessary to get their approval. But that would likely be the place they'd start with in regard to their other mission. First though they'd have to call in a bit of support.
Before long a large x-shaped slash appeared as Cross walked through it. He quickly took stock of the situation, ultimately deciding they needed to deal with this AU as soon as possible. AU's with this level of power always become involved in the multiverse in some way.
Reapertale, Epictale, Xtale, were all AU's that had been known for being both powerful and a pain for the gods to deal with. This Glitchtale would become another of those and if they could deal with it before it could become an actual problem for the boss all the better.
The oreo-colored skeleton took charge as they laid out their plan to deal with this universe each for their own reasons. Cross to aid the boss, Killer and Dust to grow more powerful, Horror simply following the others' orders.
As for Infinite he had two reasons for doing this. One, he had no actual choice in the matter since he had made a deal with Nightmare to aid him and he was forced to comply. Two, by fighting other powerful opponents he could grow his powers faster. Thus he could get out of Nightmare's thumb and be one step closer to punishing those who had wronged him.
Cross and Infinite teamed up while the other three scouted the city for various obstacles and vantage points. It was a first for both of them, but Infinite couldn't help but respect Cross a little bit.
The skeleton reminded him a lot of himself when he was younger. The sense of duty and pragmatism that drove him to do whatever was necessary regardless of whether it was morally okay or not.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The two arrived at a large building complex, which was the headquarters of this organization. The full name of which was the Anti-Monsters Department, how...nice. Cross couldn't help but feel a bit weirded out that such an organization existed in a True Pacifist Timeline of all things. By their very nature True Pacifist timelines usually were very positive and bar negative AU's rarely had any issues between monsters and humans.
Another thing to blame Ink for he guessed. For now the two of them were infiltrating the headquarters to figure out exactly what this organization could do and if it would be a problem for them. This was made all the easier by Infinite messing with the minds of all those nearby to skew their perceptions.
Doing this prevented anyone from seeing, hearing, or smelling them whatsoever. It was a very convenient power that he hadn't used much since the war ended for....personal reasons.
The two arrived in a large area with multiple screens and computers surrounded by large high-tech servers. There were camera feeds on the screens, hundreds of them spread throughout the entire city. Someone was clearly a control freak to need all this.
Cross observed the various feeds as he took stock of how much the A.M.D. was aware of what was going on in this city. Infinite meanwhile chose to investigate the various computers and servers, accessing the large data banks present. A quick application of the ruby's power allowed him to easily bypass any and all security measures put in place.
He accessed various files pertaining to weapons and combat plans alongside personnel and available resources. Magic barriers, prototype soul destabilizers, magic enhancers and focuses. All sorts of things that on their own would barely even be a challenge but collectively could pose quite a problem. They'd have to make sure the A.M.D. wouldn't be able to organize fast enough to be a threat considering all this. They reminded the jackal a lot of G.U.N.
"It seems this AU was even more problematic than we thought. The boss will be pleased we took care of it before it could truly pick up steam." Cross said as he overlooked the various cameras and files.
Infinite was annoyed by that. "I don't care whether the 'boss' will be pleased or not. All that matters is being able to grow my power more. Regardless, it's time to leave. We got what we came here for."
The skeleton and the jackal left the building unknown to anyone, at least as far as they knew. Two pink eyes secretly watched the two from the dark alongside another pair. The abomination of a being was not happy, these beings were not supposed to be here. They would interrupt their plans at this rate.
But they had made one big mistake and that would cost them dearly. Bete Noire giggled to herself alongside Akumu in the darkness of the headquarters, unheard to all. These outsiders' actions would be the key to their victory whether they realized it or not.

(Elsewhere)
Gaster was currently working on improving the Core alongside Alphys who had become the new assistant royal scientist while Gaster took over the role she once possessed. Alphys preferred this honestly, not having to be in charge and working for someone even smarter than her was much needed stress relief.
Though she had to admit working on improving the Core was rather stressful work. Especially since they had to adjust the Core in order to allow for it to integrate into the human electrical grid. And doing that while also making sure not to overload the infrastructure and ensuring that the Core was not compromised in any way wasn't exactly easy.
The biggest problem though was making sure the human government didn't try to take over the Core once they realized its power. Gaster had spent several days making it very clear that only he, her and Sans knew how to maintain and manage the Core. Even a single mistake when managing it would result in it melting down and exploding.
Such a disaster would result in everything in a several hundred-mile area being completely vaporized and that's despite the measures put in place to prevent as much damage as possible. It would be akin to a super-volcanic eruption that would devastate much of the continent. Needless to say, after hearing that the humans were far more accommodating. Especially after some of their scientists were given notes and research on the Core only to not be able to figure out the data presented.
Alphys wasn't that surprised, the Core was immensely complex. It took Gaster centuries to figure out everything needed to build it despite his immense intellect. As for her and Sans it took them decades to figure out how most of it functioned. And yet there were still things only Gaster knew about it. He really is amazing honestly.
Currently they are finishing up final checks and soon they will be ready to finish expanding the Core. With this it would allow both humans and monsters to more easily get along. Alphys was a bit nervous honestly, she really hoped they didn't screw this up.
"Focus Alphys, we need to ensure nothing goes wrong. I understand you have made many mistakes in the past that have cost much for others. But you are under my supervision and guidance now. Besides, if anything does go wrong, there are numerous failsafes to ensure the Core remains stable." Gaster replied as he noticed the lizard monster's nervousness.
"Heya, G. How goes the Core expansion?" Sans asked while popping up right behind Alphys who jumped in shock while screaming.
Gaster stared in slight amusement at Alphys' shock. "Things are going quite well Sans. We're currently performing final checks right now. Perhaps you can help in regards to that. Though I must ask, why are you here?"
Sans walked up to his father, smirking lazily. "Just checking up on things. Though I've been getting more of those weird feelings. I'm not really sure how to describe it besides it being weird."
Gaster rubbed his chin in thought at that. "Interesting. I have been getting similar feelings but dismissed them. I believe them to be the result of the magic difference compared to the underground and the presence of so many human souls. But if what you say is true perhaps it is something else?"
"M-maybe it's something the A.M.D has been working on? W-we know t-they've been messing with a lot of advanced magic tech right? P-perhaps something they've been working on has resulted in a strange energy signature that's affecting the city? Something that only highly sensitive monsters can detect? Though you're the only two getting those feelings so maybe something to do with space-time?" Alphys butted in while musing to herself aloud.
"Perhaps, but if so that raises several questions and issues. Well for now we will-" As Gaster was about to continue with the final checks, a large burst of extremely malevolent magical energy washed over them.
Gaster immediately rushed out of the lab which lay on the city's outskirts. As he looked atop the hill it was situated on, he saw billowing smoke coming from near the center of the city. What is this?
(In The City)
There was smoke everywhere as an entire city block was reduced to rubble. Many humans were injured or currently running away from the area while screaming. Killer for once was not grinning at the carnage he had started.
Standing not far from him were Asgore and Toriel, who had blocked the attack he had sent to kill that little demon behind them. Chara, Frisk and Asriel stared in shock at the demented skeleton in front of them.
Chara bit their lip in aggravation and concern, whoever that is they've clearly been corrupted by HATE. This is bad, they're not prepared or ready to fight something like this. Mom and Dad can't handle someone this strong, they need to retreat.
Killer ignored the two boss monsters in front of him, they were hardly a threat to him. That MONSTER behind them was far more important. He didn't care if this wasn't part of the plan, he'd kill Chara here and now.
Killer dashed towards Chara with his knife coated in a red aura only to be stopped by a trident blocking his attack. Asgore scowled as he blocked the empowered slash attack. As Killer went to slash through the trident and boss monster a burst of condensed fire appeared on the trident's prongs.
The resulting explosion sent Killer through multiple buildings. The skeleton stood up in surprise at the attack, why was it so strong? Before he could contemplate this however Toriel jumped into the sky before slamming down where he was with a fiery fist.
Killer barely teleported in time before a massive explosion of fire destroyed the entire block of buildings. What the hell? Okay, clearly something is up here. They are NOT supposed to be that strong. Killer scowled as he performed a CHECK on them both. Asgore and Toriel momentarily tensed up as they felt the scan on their souls.

"Well then guess we're doing this. Let's see how long you'll last."
