Reading the entire blog both amuses and terrifies me at the same time...
What scares me most isn't what's written — it's how much this mysterious Whistle knows about every single one of us.
I close the tab and hand it back to Iris before standing and walking over to the window to take a deep breath.
After a second I turn to the others. "So no one has yet gotten any information about this Whistle person? The incident was meant to be kept a secret. Now everyone fucking knows about it."
"So you know what happened to the Quads?" Elma's voice rises in surprise.
"Of course she does. It's Josie, remember?" Iris says as she takes a gulp of her beverage. Alcohol, actually, but in a fancy bottle.
"Yeah, obviously. It's crazy how we've moved from the time humans are fighting us to supernaturals fighting each other. We probably won't need the apocalypse again for plants and animals to take over the world," Landon adds.
