KALEB
Jeremy's assessing eyes take in my head to my toes. He snarls at me and walks away in the opposite direction.
I sigh, following his fast-paced steps. "What are you doing, scribbling on a paper? How is that supposed to help us?"
"Uhhh. Josie, was it? She said she'd provide a spell once we are ready to come back to the real world and she gave me this to write on. She's a good witch, brother."
I snort to myself at how horrible he has become as of late. "How can Josie..." I clench my fist and let out a breath through my mouth before I can continue.
"Josie is not a witch, Jeremy. It's weird, don't you think? You scent and know everyone at first glance once they lock their eyes with yours, but as of recent, you seem to be losing your catch."
I am ignored. Fucking ignored by Jeremy.
Two hours later, we manage to get back to the real world. Apparently his note-spell stuff works, but I'm sure as hell it wasn't Josie's doing.
