Mother hasn't spoken to me in weeks.

When she's mad at me, she punishes me by silencing herself around me.

When we eat lunch or dinner, she won't look at me, and she totally won't let me go out.

Her room door is locked every night, and she doesn't sneak into my room to kiss me goodnight.

I don't know what to do.

I managed to call on a close friend of hers, thinking she'd at least let my mother talk to me and treat me like her own child, but I just sat awkwardly next to him and pretended to enjoy his company while the cocky wanker spoke about his family problems.

My father doesn't show up. If anything, he's been more absent—for weeks turning into months.

I haven't set my eyes on him since he left to get groceries at night.
