Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 : Is it so easy to make money?

Xiao Baozi is 6 years old this year and is in the last year of kindergarten.

Now is the cutest stage, with a chubby face, and she is particularly clingy to him, and is good at acting coquettish, cute, and playfulness.

Even though life is hard, every time I see such a lovely sister, I feel that everything is worth it.

Girls of this age are all foodies. Little Baozi loves fried chicken and French fries the most. Every weekend she pesters Wu Cheng to take her to McDonald's.

Having eaten at McDonald's yesterday, Wu Cheng squatted down and pinched the little bun's chubby face: "Brother bought a chicken, and I'll use the air fryer to cook two chicken legs for you, okay?"

  "Emm...."

The little bun tilted her head and thought seriously: "But if I eat two chicken legs by myself, my brother and mother will have nothing to eat."

"So what do you think is more appropriate?"

"My brother and mom will each have a chicken drumstick, and I'll just have two chicken wings."

The little bun raised two fingers and reminded seriously with big eyes: "Brother, it's two chicken wings."

  "Okay, okay."

  Wu Cheng laughed.

If you say she is greedy, she will consider herself and her mother. If you say she is sensible and considerate, she will only think about eating two chicken wings.

Wu Cheng got busy, chopping out the chicken wings and chicken legs, first cutting them, then sprinkling them with salt, pepper, soy sauce and cooking wine, and starting to marinate them.

He has cooked a lot and has become an expert at it.

  "Brother, let me help you."

The little bun brought a small stool, stepped on it, and proudly rolled up her sleeves: "I'll help you wash these beans."

  ....

Thanks to the "help" of Xiao Baozi, the meal took an hour and a half to prepare. When Wu Cheng brought out the four dishes, Zeng Lifen had already cleaned up the table and set out the dishes.

"Chengcheng, Mr. and Mrs. Yang downstairs are not at home, Manman is home alone, go and ask her to come for dinner."

  Zeng Lifen said.

Lao Yang who lives downstairs was Lao Wu's former card-playing and drinking buddy. They often went fishing together for more than ten years, and the relationship between the two families has always been good.

Yang Manman is Mr. Yang's daughter. She is 18 this year and will take the college entrance examination in a few days. She has delicate features, a slender waist and long legs, and a plump chest under her school uniform.

"I asked her, and she said she ordered takeout," Wu Cheng replied.

"Girl, why is she eating takeout? It's not nutritious and not healthy."

Zeng Lifen took out two bowls from the kitchen and said, "Put some food in them and send them over to her."

The little Baozi was chewing chicken wings, her mouth full of oil. she stopped and said, "Brother and mother each have a chicken drumstick, and I have two chicken wings. Sister Manman will have nothing to eat."

"Then give her a chicken wing." Zeng Lifen said.

"Well... well, Sister Manman bought me so many snacks and took me to McDonald's, so I have to show my appreciation."

The little bun looked confused for a moment, then she grabbed a chicken wing and put it into Zeng Lifen's bowl, and told Wu Cheng, "Brother, you must tell Sister Manman that I gave her this chicken wing. You must tell her."

Wu Cheng didn't know whether to laugh or cry: "Okay."

After Zeng Lifen finished picking up the dishes, Wu Cheng went downstairs with two bowls and kicked the door of room 502 twice.

"Takeout, huh? Just leave it at the door!"

A crisp sound was heard in the house.

  "What takeaway? It's me."

Wu Cheng kicked twice more: "Hurry up and open the door. My hands are tired from carrying it."

"Stop kicking it, or you might break my door. Wait a minute!" someone from inside said dissatisfiedly.

The two have been neighbors for more than ten years. They are six years apart in age. Yang Manman has been sticking to Wu Cheng since she was a child and was like a little kid. However, the two have not been getting along well since she entered junior high school.

Yang Manman seemed to have entered a rebellious period. She would argue with Wu Cheng whenever she got the chance, often calling Wu Cheng a fat otaku. Every time she came to Wu Cheng's house, she would check the trash can and would often occupy his computer to play games.

Wu Cheng didn't take her seriously. He stole the snacks she hid in the bedside table, cut off her electricity when she was playing the qualifying promotion match, and cut off her water when she went to the bathroom.

"What are you doing?" Wu Cheng asked impatiently.

  "I won't tell you."

After a long while, a gap finally opened, revealing a pure and lovely face with a straight nose and delicate facial features. Coupled with the pure and unworldly temperament of her age, she had a charm that made people unable to take their eyes off her.

However, her cheeks were slightly red, and her eyes were a little evasive when facing Wu Cheng.

  "Thanks."

Yang Manman took the dishes in and was about to close the door.

"What are you doing? Let me go in and take a look."

Wu Cheng walked in, but was blocked by someone's back. He only caught a glimpse of a uniform on the sofa. Hmm? JK?

"You're doing something bad, aren't you?"

  "You're crazy."

Yang Manman's cheeks turned even pinker, and she quickly protected the door: "Thank Auntie for me, you can go now."

"The chicken wings were given by Xiao Baozi." Wu Cheng reminded.

"Thank the little bun for me, and tell her that her sister will treat her to ice cream this afternoon."

Yang Manman quickly closed the door, leaned her back against it, and breathed a sigh of relief.

Wu Cheng shook his head and went upstairs to have dinner with his mother and the little bun. 30 minutes later, there was a "ding" sound and the panel appeared.
