The sun set in twilight.
In the Land of Fire, within the hidden village of Konohagakure, in the Uchiha clan's territory...
"Boss, give me a bento."
Kin wore pure black shorts and a short-sleeved shirt, with the Uchiwa Fan emblem on his back marking him as an Uchiha.
He stared at the bento on the counter, practically drooling.
Though, it wouldn't matter even if he weren't wearing clothes. Under normal circumstances, no villager would dare enter the Uchiha clan's grounds.
"Uchiha Kin, you disgrace to the Uchiha clan!!"
An angry shout made Kin, who was busy selecting his bento, look up.
Instead of the shopkeeper, a little brat emerged from the store—the owner's son, Uchiha Nobi.
"Forget it."
Kin shook his head, deciding against buying the bento. He still had some ingredients at home; he could just cook something simple.
Seeing Kin ignore him completely, Nobi sneered.
"Don't think pretending not to hear will save you! You failed the ninja exam again, didn't you?"
To his surprise, Kin grinned, flashing his teeth and giving a thumbs-up with pride.
"You guessed right!"
Nobi's anger flared. How could someone be so shameless?
Since when had the Uchiha clan ever produced a member who couldn't even pass the ninja exams?
"You bastard! Do you even have any pride as an Uchiha?"
"Hold on—you might want to check behind you."
Kin suddenly interrupted Nobi's rant.
But Nobi stood firm.
"I'm not falling for your lies!"
He was certain that if he turned around, Kin would vanish without a trace. Based on past experiences at school, he knew better.
"What are you saying to Kin, you little brat!?"
A large hand seized Nobi by the scruff of his neck, making him flail and yelp.
A middle-aged man with a limp, his face dark with anger, held his son firmly.
The shop owner.
Uchiha Noboru.
"I'll deal with you later."
With that, Noboru tossed Nobi back into the shop before turning to Kin with a warm smile.
"Don't mind him—he needs discipline. Failing this time isn't a big deal, Kin. Just keep trying your best."
He handed Kin a carefully prepared bento.
"Here, don't go hungry."
"How much, Uncle Noboru?"
"It's on the house. Take whatever you want."
"Thanks, Uncle." Kin nodded and headed home. Once he was far enough away, he pulled out a 50-ryō coin and flicked it backward in a smooth arc, landing it perfectly on the counter.
"This kid..." Noboru chuckled, picking up the coin before calling out, "This is too much!"
"Put it toward the next one," Kin's voice echoed from the distance.
Watching Kin walk away, Noboru's expression turned complicated.
"What a shame."
His parents had been elite jōnin, yet he had no talent for ninjutsu.
In a clan that revered strength, life wouldn't be easy for him. But there was nothing Noboru could do. He sighed heavily.
Nobi, rubbing his head, walked over.
"Dad, why!?"
How could his own father treat him like this over a failure? Wasn't he his real son? Why did it feel like Noboru cared more about Uchiha Kin than him?
"You little—!" Noboru rolled up his sleeves. Nobi tried to bolt, but he was caught instantly.
Noboru grabbed a nearby broom and started whacking Nobi, scolding him furiously.
"My life was saved by Kin's father! How dare you treat Kin like that! Don't you know he only comes here to support our business!?"
Nobi wasn't listening. His mind was consumed by pain.
"Stop!! I get it, I was wrong!!"
"I'll make sure you remember this time!"
Whack! Whack! Whack! The loud strikes made passersby wince.
Kin's journey home wasn't peaceful either. A group of pre-academy brats appeared out of nowhere, circling him while chanting:
"Uchiha's pride, Uchiha's Kin, Uchiha's failure, can't pass, ninja!"
Kin, however, hummed along to their tune, completely unfazed by the lyrics.
It was already a fact—being mocked wouldn't make him lose any flesh.
"Hmm hmm."
He even started dancing along, which wasn't strange for a twelve-year-old.
Uchiha clansmen passing by reacted with disdain, scorn, indifference, or pity.
Kin's mood actually improved as he bounced to the children's taunts. But the kids weren't happy.
They'd come to mock him, not provide entertainment.
"Bleh!" The brats stuck out their tongues in unison before running off.
Kin didn't stop, continuing his cheerful skip all the way home.
"Childhood should be about enjoying childish fun, after all."
Even if the atmosphere wasn't great, he could still amuse himself.
Back home, he lit three sticks of incense for his deceased parents.
"Even if it's not this world's custom, it still has meaning."
Kin sighed as he looked at their black-and-white photos.
He was deeply grateful to his parents in this life for giving him a fresh start.
In his past life, he'd failed to check a traffic light and ended up as a truck's business opportunity.
Just like that, his promising life vanished. When he opened his eyes again, he was in the war-torn world of Naruto, reborn into the Uchiha clan.
Talk about courting death.
He wanted to cry.
Forget the unstable peace—though there were no major wars, minor conflicts were constant, and the final showdown loomed ahead.
Even if he survived that, the Third Shinobi World War awaited. And if he miraculously made it through that, the Uchiha clan's massacre would be next.
It was like having a guillotine hanging over his head.
Death could come at any moment.
As for failing the ninja exams, it wasn't an act for safety—he genuinely failed both times.
The first exam tested the Clone Technique, and the second tested the Substitution Technique. Yet he couldn't perform either.
He might be the only Uchiha in history who couldn't use ninjutsu.
As for the clan's signature Sharingan, he'd long given up hope. He was an embarrassment to transmigrators everywhere.
Awakening the Sharingan required emotional trauma.
And the Mangekyō? That needed extreme love.
The reason Madara chose Obito wasn't because of his talent—it was because he loved so deeply that his hatred would be equally profound.
For Kin, forget extreme love—he barely had emotional fluctuations. Forming bonds with this world was nearly impossible.
Yet emotions were crucial for awakening the Sharingan.
Just look at Sasuke, who unlocked his first tomoe out of sheer rage during the massacre.
But the real reason he couldn't use ninjutsu?
It all came down to one thing.
"A goddamn scam of a golden finger!!"
His cheat, called "Deduction," could theoretically deduce anything—from immortal cultivation techniques to methods for falling asleep quickly.
It sounded amazing, right?
But the requirements were brutal!! The restrictions were insane!!
First, to deduce something, a text box would appear where he had to input his ideas and the direction of creation.
Then, it demanded foundational knowledge!!!
For example, to deduce "Postpartum Care for Sows," he needed to provide biological knowledge about sows, techniques for the birthing process, and nursing methods!!!
At that point, why not just buy a book on sow postpartum care!?
In short, to deduce anything, he had to feed it the underlying logic first.
"It's no different from studying and inventing something myself!!"
The only redeeming quality was its accuracy—anything deduced was guaranteed to work, with no risk of mistakes.
A mad scientist's dream.
"You should've gone to Orochimaru, not me!!"
Well, maybe it was better this way. This cheat was still his key to survival.
The worst part? Once something was deduced, he had to learn it—no takebacks!!
And he'd paid dearly for it.
To test the system, he flipped through the ninjutsu scrolls left by his parents. Surprisingly, there were many—especially sealing techniques.
He didn't recall his parents working in the Sealing Corps until he found a diary entry:
"If we break the Nine-Tails' seal and transfer it into ourselves to become jinchūriki, could the Uchiha clan produce a Hokage with its power?"
Unbelievable. His parents were radical extremists—so radical they'd predicted the future!
As a proud inheritor of the Uchiha extremist bloodline… what a joke!!
Mito was still alive back then, yet his parents died first!!
What a mess!
Putting aside their extremism, he'd ended up with a pile of sealing techniques. He studied them day and night.
And yet, he couldn't understand them. But he memorized them anyway. Then, inspiration struck.
What if he used sealing techniques as a foundation, replacing chakra extraction with chakra storage to create something like internal energy? By adjusting the seals, he could manipulate chakra freely.
The system said it was possible.
Thus, the Chakra Sealing Version: Basic Chakra Internal Energy Technique was born.
This "chakra internal energy" could slow aging, enhance recovery, and improve physical fitness—essentially a variant of Tsunade's Strength of a Hundred Seal.
That alone would've been fine. But this technique was tyrannical—it prevented chakra from leaving his body!!
If chakra was expelled, the technique would forcibly pull it back.
Result? Ninjutsu became impossible.
The forced mastery left no room for regrets.
Kin had cried himself dry.
But that wasn't the worst part.
The worst part was—
To advance further, he needed others to raise his limits.
System, can't you be human for once?
Oh, it's not human.
Never mind.
Uchiha Kin: (╯‵□′)╯︵┴─┴
What could he do? He was helpless.
His Basic Chakra Internal Energy Technique had tiers. He had to expand the seals step by step, enhancing everything from physical abilities to lifespan.
Only by covering his entire body could he use normal ninjutsu again.
What kind of garbage game mechanic was this!?
"Just destroy this world already."
Kin's face twisted in despair.
