Chapter 103 - Chapter 103:Tailed Beasts Are Really Unbeatable!!

Uchiha Kin was fleeing for his life.

His figure flickered repeatedly—across rocks, withered trees—using Shunpo at full speed. He was running for dear life.

The main reason was the terrifying presence behind him.

A massive head loomed, spewing a fireball that turned everything in its path to ashes. Had Kin not dodged swiftly, he would have been just another speck of dust in the devastation.

His gaze fixed on the enormous chasm left by the fireball.

Tailed Beasts were entities he simply couldn't handle. A single mistake would mean death.

"Stop running if you dare!" roared the Two-Tails' Jinchūriki from behind, her claws swiping at Kin but only gouging the ground beneath.

"Stop chasing if you dare!!" Kin shot back.

Was he supposed to just stand there and die? He wanted to live for tens of thousands of years, not perish so soon.

Damn it.

That bastard White Fang.

How could he leave Kin to deal with a Tailed Beast? What was he thinking?

Even a squad of Jōnin would be slaughtered against this thing! The fact that Kin had lasted this long was already a miracle.

Without the sheer volume of explosive tags that future Konan possessed, he couldn't even scratch it. Most large-scale jutsu were beyond his reach!

"I'll develop a technique specifically for Tailed Beasts one day!!" Kin screamed internally.

But right now, it was useless against the monstrosity behind him!!!

A colossal claw descended from above.

Kin flashed away, reappearing a distance away. The withered tree beneath the claw shattered into burning splinters.

Standing atop a rock, Kin glared at the Two-Tails.

"I can't keep running forever."

Gripping his sword tightly, he decided to test whether he could control the beast.

After all, neither the Nine-Tails nor the Three-Tails had been able to resist the Sharingan.

Uchiha Madara and Uchiha Obito would've nodded in approval.

Kin locked eyes with the Two-Tails, his Sharingan's tomoe spinning rapidly.

The beast's pursuit halted mid-step, its body freezing as its pupils flickered with the faint imprint of the Sharingan.

But soon—

"Ugh." Kin grunted, clutching one eye as blood trickled from the corner.

"Too much…"

The Sharingan in the Two-Tails' eyes vanished the next moment.

Yet, the beast didn't immediately charge. Instead, it crouched low, watching Kin warily.

"Seems like I accidentally unleashed the real Two-Tails."

Kin wiped his eye socket.

Things were getting worse.

A human controlling a Tailed Beast's body was still limited, unable to wield its full power.

Only the Tailed Beast itself could unleash its true strength.

"Swish!"

In an instant, the Two-Tails lunged at Kin on all fours.

Kin leaped backward, hands weaving seals at lightning speed.

"This technique is barely usable."

His palms slammed together.

"Dark Release: Darkness Genjutsu!"

A pitch-black hue spread from behind Kin, swallowing everything in its path. A vast, dark space materialized rapidly.

The Two-Tails, charging in, was immediately ensnared by the darkness. It curled into a ball and rolled forward, breaking free from the black void.

Opening its maw, it began gathering chakra.

A genuine Tailed Beast Ball.

The devastating sphere launched into the darkness, detonating with enough force to obliterate everything within and beyond its range.

But Kin had already appeared high above the Two-Tails.

His Kusanagi Sword gleamed, poised for the strike.

"Moon Breathing!"

This technique surpassed ordinary Breathing Styles—even he couldn't use it too often.

Its name—

"Eighth Form!"

"Moon Dragon's Tail!"

A colossal slash materialized mid-air, brimming with countless crescent-shaped blades.

From top to bottom.

It crashed down.

The strike landed squarely on the Two-Tails, carving a wound into its body alongside countless smaller gashes.

But compared to White Fang's power, it was far from enough.

The Two-Tails shrugged it off effortlessly, leaping into the air and swatting Kin to the ground with its tail—a move the Jinchūriki could never have executed.

This time, Kin failed to dodge. The brutal impact sent him bouncing off the ground, blood spraying from his mouth.

Scrambling on all fours, he barely escaped as another massive fireball struck.

"Boom!"

A crater formed where he'd lain.

"Hah…"

Kin exhaled sharply, having narrowly avoided death.

He was still too weak to face the Two-Tails head-on.

Gritting his teeth, he cursed, "Why hasn't that bastard White Fang returned yet?"

The Two-Tails turned toward him again, energy coalescing in its maw.

"Heh. Again?"

Ignoring the pain, Kin glared at the beast, his Sharingan's tomoe spinning wildly.

For a moment, the Two-Tails' eyes flickered with the Sharingan's pattern, causing it to stagger.

The Tailed Beast Ball in its mouth destabilized.

"BOOM!!"

The explosion sent the Two-Tails flying, obliterating half its body and ejecting the Jinchūriki from its form. The flames swiftly retreated into the human host.

Instead of fleeing, Kin charged toward the unconscious Jinchūriki.

Though she'd regain control soon, this brief window was his only chance!!

In a flash, he stood beside her.

The explosion had forced her out of the Tailed Beast state, leaving her dazed.

As her vision cleared, she saw Uchiha Kin looming over her.

His crimson Sharingan dilated.

A prison of bones, fragile and crude, as if the slightest force could shatter it.

Darkness enveloped everything, save for the cage's sole light source—the Two-Tails, Matatabi, curled within, its blue flames flickering.

Noticing the intruder, the beast's eyes snapped open.

"Uchiha brat!?"

Matatabi roared, shaking the cage violently, as though it might break free any second.

But no matter how it struggled, the prison held.

Ignoring the Tailed Beast, Kin turned to the disheveled woman huddled in the corner.

"Being a Jinchūriki is truly miserable."

Kneeling beside her, he studied her lifeless expression.

"If you want to release the Two-Tails, now's the time."

The woman—Dai—glanced coldly at him, making no move to resist. She had long wished for death to escape the despair of her existence.

"What a pity."

Kin sighed, his Sharingan pulsing as Dai's pupils mirrored its pattern, silencing her will.

He approached Matatabi.

"Matatabi, I've come to negotiate."
