Lior sat down cross-legged on his bed, his gaze fixed on the two books before him. He reached out and picked one up, the one that seemed less bulky, and opened it. Straight away, a smile spread across his face as he began to read.
"The entrance trials are meant to shortlist students that'll enter the college. Even after these shortlisted students, only a few will actually get to enter the college."
Lior continued reading the book, his back gradually leaning against the bed.
What unfolded before him and entered his mind was the detailed progression of the entrance trials of the Crown Scroll College of Royal Arcanum & Statecraft.
Minutes passed, and minutes turned into hours, yet Lior kept turning the pages until he reached the very last one. He sat upright on the bed and sighed deeply. "I guess even if the trainers didn't actually train me on the first day, this book isn't so bad."
