Chapter 78 - Unnamed

Moonlight spilled like silver threads across a wide garden of flowers, their colors muted under the night but still breathing beauty into the air. A table and two chairs had been placed carefully at the garden's heart, as though the very scene had been prepared for lovers to sit facing each other, drinking in both food and the moon together. The moon itself stood high in the sky, casting a soft glow that brightened the garden and wrapped the air in a cool, almost tender stillness.

The nineteenth prince appeared then, walking slowly with his hands clasped neatly behind his back. A serene smile graced his face as though he had orchestrated this entire scene to perfection. Behind him, Lior followed, confusion dancing across his features.

His mind swirled restlessly. Why would the prince go to such lengths just to collect the form from me? First it was a kiss, and now dinner beneath the moonlight. Does he think that I'll suddenly fall for him because of such gestures?
