They think they know the story.
My children.
Or at least some of them.
They know we are three. They know about the darkness.
But stories change in the telling, truth becomes legend, and legend becomes myth.
So let me tell you how it really was.
In the beginning, there was the Void. Not darkness, darkness implies the absence of light. The Void was the absence of everything. No time, no space, no possibility. Just... nothing.
And then, we were.
Three consciousnesses sparked into existence simultaneously, born from the Void's first dream of what could be. We had no names then, as our names came later, when there were mouths to speak them.
But we knew each other instantly, fundamentally, the way you know your own heartbeat.
My brothers and I. Three. Together.
Aether was first to take form, blazing into being like the universe's first star. He was radiance personified, all golden light and warmth, creation singing through every particle of his existence.
