Elias's POV
The massive white wolf, Selene, the actual Moon Goddess, my brain still couldn't process it, regarded us with those ancient silver eyes. We had been kneeling for what felt like hours but was probably only minutes, and my knees were starting to ache against the cold stone.
"Rise, my children," she said, and her voice was everywhere and nowhere, moonlight given sound. "We have little time, and much to discuss."
I got to my feet slowly, helping Luna up beside me. She was trembling, her moon marks glowing faintly in response to being this close to their creator. Ronan and Dante stood too, both looking like they had been hit by a truck. Lorren flickered between solid and translucent, clearly overwhelmed. Even Aiyana, usually so composed, seemed shaken.
"You must rest tonight," Selene said, her massive form shifting slightly. "Tomorrow, you face my corrupted brother. You'll need strength, clarity, and most importantly—" she paused, looking at each of us, "—unity."
