Welcome to my broke and unemployed
life!
My name is Hana. After my
graduation, I went back to my small hometown and was incredibly lucky to get
employed at a small company near my locality. I worked there for a year and
decided to quit since I always aimed for bigger companies. With my 'one year',
experienced-certificate on my hand, I was sure to secure any job up next but I
was awfully wrong.
I've always liked reading stories
and novels ever since I was a kid. I've always liked fantasy based movies,
novels, manga or anime. Thus, I ended up reading a lot more than usual again after
my numerous failed attempts at finding job. I soon find myself following the
new trends and was extremely interested in Murim-based manhwa and novel, mostly
the reincarnation or regression type! I swopped over all the good stuffs on
these genres for three months, reading day and night and barely care about my
own reality.
I dropped anything related to
romance and I'm not fond of Harem either. The stories that I've loved mostly
involved an op ML or FL. Well, I don't mind the Lead's ending up randomly with someone
or their close pals at the end. I just don't want the story to focus and
revolves entirely on romance, the plot is important!
But I ran out of my favorite
genres on the forth month, crashing out completely at my lost of adventure, I
accepted my fate and adjusted my genre a little. That's how I came across the
novel,
'The unrivalled zero power' with
no romance tag.
The start up of the story was good
so I continued to read
The story goes like…
'In this world, only the Royals
and Nobles were granted a gift of Nature's elements - water, fire, wind &
earth which was later named 'Magic'. Born from both commoner parents, the ML,
Leon Bracath had zero talent for magic. Leon's parents were then killed by the
Grand-duke's second grandson named Torpan Gramil which started the story and
his journey to avenged his parents.Then his revolving stories continued.'
It was good at first but slowly
the ML became more of a jerk, abusing the kindness of others as his weapons and
growing more unreasonable. I dropped the story mid-way and did not forget to
drop a massive disappointment comment.
That night after dropping 'The
unrivalled zero power', I ended up scrolling endlessly for another story to
start and I didn't even realize when I fall asleep. It would be around 4-5am, the
sun was faintly up. I woke up from my sleep, finding incredibly hard to
breathe, the air around me seems to have zero oxygen and my body became so
stiffed, moving became incredibly hard. Struggling for minutes which seems like
hours, my eyes became heavier and heavier.
Soon I realized struggling was a
bad idea. A warm and calm blanket started to enveloped me as I stopped
struggling. I knew as soon as I closed my eyes, I would have a good and nice
sleep, so I did. I closed my eyes..
"Uhhh! That's the nicest
sleep I've ever had!" I sat up from my bed, stretched my arms and blow out a
heavy yawn.
After scratching my back, I finally
opened my eyes.
"Huh? Eh?", A luxurious room?
"Tsk! No wonder I felt so good!
What a fancy little dream!"
Taking a huge breathe of disappointment,
I slammed my body back down hard on the bed.
"Oww~ Oh!That feels
real"
Was I suppose to feel things in my
dream?
Anyway~ This is indeed a spacious
and luxurious room. The looks of it feels like that of a Royal palace. Every
decorations in this rooms are so detailed. With all these shiny gems and
stones, the room might even emit a glowing light-oranged color.
The loud knock on the Grand Big
fucking double door, almost let me throw myself away from the bed, my heart
skipped a deep beat.
I heard no words followed suit
with the knock maybe I heard it wrong?
*KNOCKKNOCK*
There it repeats again. Isn't it
normal to call for someone or something after a knock.
Breathing in sharp and gathering
my strength, hoping it's not some demon, I asked
"Who are you?!"
"Lady Amara!?"
After hearing a female voice and
not some devilish monsters voice. I calmed down a little but the big door which
was closed shut then gets abrubtly swing opened. A loud gasp escape from her
mouth out of fear and later of surprise seeing a woman dressed like a maid
entered.
"Lady Amara! I will call the
Duke Immediatly!"
The woman then ran off. I could
hear her footsteps slowly getting farther away from
me.
"Lady Amara? Wasn't that the
evil girl from the story, I've dropped last night?"
A Loud and numbered footsteps were
making their way closer and closer to me, until..
"My oh My! My sweet
child!", The beautiful Lady rushed towards me and embraced me in her arms.
Dumbfounded, I just let her hug me and look around the group of people who were
with her.
"My little princess",
Another man spoke, giving me a warm smile and rest his hand on my head gently.
He looks like he is nearing his 50's but buff as heck. He have red eyes and
black hair with a perfect sharp jawline, he is without a doubt, a handsome
daddy. Ahem!
The woman finally let go of me,
giving me a forehead kiss with a smile. She wiped her remaining tears away with
her napkin. This woman has grey hair which look so natural and dark brown eyes.
I bet she is the wife of the handsome daddy, they would look super good
together.
But wait? Is this for Real? For REAL!? Am I not fucking dreaming?
"Ah! My Lord! My Lady!",
a man dressed in white dress appeared in front of the door and ran over to our
side. So I assumed he is the doctor.
"My Lady, do you feel pain
anywhere?", The doctor asked as he scooted down before me.
My lady? Me? I look around to find
all their gazes on me so It seems I have to be the 'My Lady'.
I cleared my throat and answered
him.
"No, I'm actually feeling
very good". Physically I am. But mentally, I have no idea what the fuck is
going on and just playing along with these people here!
"Umm.. Where am I? Who are
you people?", I finally asked.
"GASP!*
"Rara, what do you mean? I am
your mother and your father stands right here", The woman who just hugged
me exclaimed.
"Doctor, What is the meaning
of this?!", The handsome daddy shouted at the doctor.
"I-It! It must be a slight
memory fluctuations , My Lord! Lady Amara slept for a whole month, it is only
expected that such circumstances like this are unavoidable!"
The handsome daddy slaps a hand
over his face, letting out a deep defeated sigh.
"I believe Lady Amara's
memory will gradually folds back as time went by", The doctor added.
The drama that I watched with the handsome
daddy and the doctor was disturbed when the handsome-daddy-seemingly-wife held
both my hands and caress them with both her thumbs.
"It's okay, my sweet child.
Do not be afraid, you're father and I will do anything to make you feel better"
A little later, I made a request
to rest and be alone so all the people in the room finally dispersed
I then started collecting data
from my worn-out brain and after thinking about my situations for hours. I
sadly have to accept that I died that morning. And possibly reincarnated. Not in Murim world but
here..
"Why all of the fucking extra
Banger Murim stories!---I reincarnated here! WHY!"
I know who I am. And I don't like
this world one bit! I skipped and passed a lot of chapters from this story and
I'm not even sure about any of the many details related. I read the story
thoroughly till chapter 10 and started to unlike the ML but since I was at it
for the plot. I forced myself to read it, gradually, losing interest in the ML,
made me skip many parts and thus! This reincarnation is not for me! So Why
here!??
Only when I looked at my
reflection did I calmed down a little. My dreamed slender body and pretty face
was staring right me, I even have red colored eyes! I do look like a villainess
with this red eyes though Oho!
So, let me introduce myself again.
My name is Amara Wavern. The side character in,' The unrivalled zero power'.
Also a pure blood.
Now, let me brief about this world
as much as I remembered.
In this world, there are pure
bloods and mix bloods. The pure bloods are born from Two parents having mana-blood basically the Royals or Nobles and
the mix bloods are born from one pure blood parent and a commoner. Royals and
Nobles have mana-blood passed down from ancient times. The mana-blood allowed
human to naturally have capacity to store mana, thus enabling them to use
magic. But it is strictly forbidden for pure bloods to have offsprings with
commoners and have two penalties-
1. Death
2. Forced Mana Burst
The FL of this world, Ina Gargain
is also a mix-blood with water element. The mix blood have a low capacity to
store mana, although, they would be able to cast any magic like any pure
bloods, they would ran out of mana soon and if they continued to force mana
after running out, the 'Mana Burst' happened and would eventually make the said
user unable to use mana anymore therefore no magic.
The FL of this world, Ina Gargain is
said to be from the Duke Cornette family. Ina loved Leon as much as Amara does.
From my perspective, She is more hopeless than Amara. The readers called her
the Female Lead because she was with Leon from the very beginning and through.
While Amara Wavern is the grand-daughter
of Grand-duke Kriston Wavern and her faher is the Eldest son of Grand-duke
Kriston Wavern - Duke Lennon Wavern and her mother being Duchess Hazel Wavern.
The Duke and Duchess Wavern always wanted a child but they were unable to have
an offspring for a long time. Until Duke Lenno was 55 and Duchess Hazel was 47,
Hazel miraculously got pregnant and before she had her menopause, they are
blessed with their daughter, Amara Wavern. Thus, Amara became extremely spoiled
by the Duke and Duchess Wavern.
Amara is about 5'6ft tall with
Dark Grey Hair, fair skin and is
extremely beautiful by all means. Well! Except for her nasty spoiled behavior
and her undying stupid love for the ML. The ML used her and then killed her
later. My fate is doomed yep! But on the positive side here, Amara has Money,
Power and Undying love from her parents - the Duke and Duchess Wavern. And the
story haven't start yet, so I have greater chances of escaping my fate.
Mrs. Wavern visits my room
regularly and would bring foods, drinks and books. She would casually sip tea
on the king-sized chair inside my room for some time, telling me stories about my
childhood and old good memories.
"What is your name?", I
ask the maid.
"C-Clara, My Lady!", Mrs.
Wavern already left, leaving me again with more than 5 maids to tend to my
every needs, making the air in my room quiet low!
"Adjusting is already hard enough.
Except Clara, all of you, Please leave my room", I ordered.
"B-but, Duchess-"
"Hurry!"
The doctor comes to visit
regularly and always told me not to use any magic for the time being. That is
what I am very curious about.
"Clara, Please be wary of the
door for me. Tell me fast if the Duchess comes"
"Y-Yes, My Lady"
It is said in the novel that Amara
is op and have all four nature element. Fire, Water, Earth and Air. The ML make
sure to make good use of her as Amara's love for the ML is boundless. Also,
Amara is one of his biggest armour, specifically speaking.
And Amara has two weaknesses, the
ML and her own op powers, in the novel, she could not perform much offensive
magic but have a sturdy defence. But four elementalist are rare and I might be
the only person with it. They briefly explained that even dual users have core
element, the more element they have, the harder to have a core element. But
Amara, even if she have any opportunity to attack, she might run away. I didn't
think much about her reasons for not able to do many offensive magic since she
never really cared about it herself and was busy obsessing over the ML. Does
Amara have the same problem with the case of dual users and few Tri Users too?
I took the magic book with me on
the bed. I already read it but I have to be very careful here.
The book told me to think about
the elements and picture them as if they flow through my veins and amplify
their intensity as it went out of our hold.
"Think about water.. water..
water!"
I felt my surroundings shaking a
bit. My hands reach out straight into the air, trying to focus the power into
my hand and grasp it in my hand.
"Ha!", The water around
me- some from plants, some from pots and bottles gather into my hand, leaving a
bit of space in between my skin and the water. It is levitating a bit. It felt
as if I draw some strength like a draining machine and suck on the water, all
to form a big sea above my palm.
"Clara! Magic! Wa!
Magic!"
Clara also laugh with me.
"Lady Amara, Please be
careful", I think Clara finally calm herself around me too. She gave me a
warm smile. Amara was a cruel shit,
treating commoners like shit yet treated like shit by that very commoner ML.
Truely deserving of her horrible ending. But now she is me and I am her and no
way would I be like her. I'm gonna survive for sure!
After a few days of trying magic,
I learn to accumulate water steadily on my hands. But that's all, I can't ever
grasp any other elements and the books were describing hard words and hard
techniques for me to decipher. It is given that I really would have to enter
the Magic Academy. The starting point of the story and all the main leads will
be there too. Sucks but this premium power that I have, I am not wasting it.
I've always dreamt on and on about having powers and I am not losing chances at
it because of some crappy ass shit ML. I am a risk-taker anyway and besides I'm
not even attracted to men in the first place!
"My little princess, you
haven't been in your best health lately. I do not think, it is a good idea to
have you out of our care too soon. You could always join the academy next year.
How about you reconsider?", The Duke spoke kindly to me, his red alluring
gentle eyes which were staring so kindly at me almost made me say 'Yes'.
"I am in great health
now", It is really hard to say the word, ' Father' or 'Dad' to him but I
have to convince him. I am now 15 years old, the age where magic is said to be accumulated
best.
By the age of 10, children started
showing signs of power. They were then taken to the Magic Tower to determine
which element they possessed. Small gust of element each were thrown at the
children by the mages of the tower. The children not bearing the same element
thrown at them would have an automatic barrier cast by their own element and if
they possess the same element, the element would be absorbed. Their names would
be written in 'The Book of El'. The Book of El is the
ticket to the higher status. The
Book of El was made by researchers from the Magic Tower 400 years back from the
present time. Any name written in this book, cannot be changed or forged
because-
1. The Researchers use four
elements in its purest form.( To obtain pure magic, one's state of mind needs
to be pure and should have extreme focus)
2. There is an order to the timing
and which element to infuse in order.
Any mage from the Magic Tower
could perform the test but only Pure Mages of four elements could infuse the
name in the book officially.
Then by the age of 15, their body
would already learn to accumulate mana. Thus the age of 15 is considered the
best age to ripen and harness their magic.
Mana could be exhausted but could
always be refilled with the help of Nature as Magic itself comes from Nature
but it would take some time for fill the mana-blood.
"Father, I do not wish to
miss any chances of getting stronger. I want to be strong enough to protect the
things I love. Please let me go"
Duke Wavern chuckled and patted my
head
"Such a wise thinking. But be
careful with your words there, I do not wish to hand you to any men as my right
as your father"
I chuckled this time
"Don't worry Father. I like
women"
"W-What?!"
My life has changed drastically.
Money is no longer my problem and my means of survival. That alone gave me a
sense of relief.
I ask Clara to hand the drawings
and descriptions of trouser and t-shirt that I've made to the Taylor. I would
wear dresses on occasions but I prefer to be comfy in any other times. The Duke
and Duchess worry a bit since It's not so lady-like. But they didn't dare to
scold or forbid me since They loved Amara to dead. They really did. The death
of Amara was a relief but her parents life were all ruined. The Duchess died
soon later due to heart attack and the Duke was never seen again. It might be
the only reason I felt bad for Amara's death.
"Do not worry, Mother,
Father. I will return no matter what"
The sorrowful goodbyes were
finally done and I'm off to the Magic academy. Let's not get involved with the main
leads. That's the possible way to avoid the my death completely.
The ML get admitted into the
academy using the FL's magic and the FL came as his maid. It was written like
this but I wonder how they manage to pull this trick, as I've practiced myself,
casting idle element in my own hand was hard enough, the FL would have to cast
on the ML's needs wherever is required and also I'm as well curious to how they
manage to enter the academy. But I should stop thinking about them, I'm not going
to find more reasons to get eliminated and completely avoid these main leads.
"Wah!!", As I land my
feet on the ground, the sight before me was splendid! Huge Gate with grand gold
decorations was before me. Through the gates, I could see a glimpse of
buildings after buildings stretched wide opened.
"Sorry!", I almost fall
flat on the ground but an arm was immediately wrapped around my waist.
"Oh my! Thank you!", I
turned around and found a handsome black haired young boy, smiling at me. And
beside him was a black haired girl in a maid outfit.
"Beautiful!", I exclaimed. The Boy
was indeed handsome but it was the Girl beside him- A Goddess?! With her long black hair being tied up in a pony and from her fair skin to her amber eyes, I've
never seen such a perfectly piece-up beauty!
"O-Oh Thank you?", She
realised I was talking about her and not the boy.
But I know who I am! I'm Amara. I
trust the outstanding features of Amara to take my shot at her and respectfully
bow at the goddess before me, making sure to give her my charming smile.
"May I know your name?",
I'm trying my best to look dashing yet The Goddess expression remains unchanged
and in fact her eyebrows knuckled together, looking more confused than before.
"She is just a lowly maid of
mine, My Lady", The boy came forward, doing the exact bow I did and smiled
so charmingly at me. Man, are you copying me?! I would've fall for those
charming smile if I am to~ You seriously need to move away, why are you
standing in front of her and blocking my way?!
I Look away from him and started
peaking my head away from his face to look at her. But the annoying Mr.
Charming boy move his head to the directions as mine and I have to zig-zag on
both right and left side from his body to even throw my dashing smiles! Argh! So annoying, this little shit.
But our little game abruptly ends
when his tongue speaks of the forbidden name I've prepared to never met-
"My name is Leon Gargain.Pleasure to meet you"
"WHA-WHAT?!"
I jerk myself away from him and the girl immediatly. It is the ML so that means the Goddess is the FL!
What is this unfortunate situation! It must be all because of Duke and Duchess Wavern for stalling my
time!
"Well.. Um! Okay, haha! Clara, let's make haste! We might be late!"
I grabbed Clara on her arm and sprint my way away from them immediately for my dear life!
Amara met The ML and FL inside the
Gate not outside! I have no way to know at what time this first meeting took
place so I have to take another precaution. Originally Amara came with 5 maids
and one of the maids, due to immense pain on both of her calves as punished by
Amara, loses her footings and dropped the cases she carried. Then the ML saw
this and went to help the maid to gathered the cases she dropped and met the
angry Amara, using his words he soothe her and command his maid, the FL to gather the cases for Amara while telling Amara the importance of practicing
dominance over the commoners.
I only bring Clara and just two
suitcases to avoid such encounter. Besides I don't really need those 20+
suitcases. Bringing two cases is already big enough for me and one of two cases
I had contained, some of the magic equipment, The Duke forced me to bring.
But what was that encounter just now?! Why them of all people!? Is this fate?!
As I finally reached my room in the Girl's dormitory. I abruptly slammed my back on the bed with my heart still racing from my escape!
"But I never thought Ina could be that beautiful. The writer indeed gave a detailed explanation of their features but reading it and seeing it makes such a difference! Right Clara?! Isn't Ina such a Goddess! Huhu!"
And a waste too! The blind Female
Lead Ina, if only you could just gave me some heart instead! Leon definitely do
not deserve you.
"That should be me~ Holding
your hand~ that should be me~ making you laugh~ Ha! What a day, Clara!"
