Chapter 67 - Respect

Luthra woke up in the same oversized bed he'd started the day in, except this time his entire body was wrapped in enchanted bandages that glowed with a faint green light.

'How long was I out?'

He tried to sit up and immediately regretted it, pain shooting through every part of his torso. His ribs were still broken, his shoulder was back in its socket but barely functional, and his head felt like someone had used it as a drum.

"Don't move, you idiot." Khorvash's voice came from the corner of the room where she was sitting in a chair, arms crossed. "Misha said if you tear those bandages, you'll bleed out in about five minutes."

"Noted." He laid back down, staring at the ceiling. "How long?"

"Two days, you've been unconscious for two full days, Rebecca was convinced you were going to die, she wouldn't leave your side until I physically carried her out to sleep."

'Two days, that's longer than I expected.'

"And Kane?"
