As they walked towards felts head-cover,felt had shown subaru around the slums,though the place was bereft of diversity,the people of the slums were nice enough to subaru that it was thought to be worth it by him.
Subaru:"almost all of them told me to "live strong!",it's one thing if one guy said it,but everyone is saying it,is it some kind of slum quote or someting?"
So subaru coined this question in the midst of conversing with felt who walked infront.
Hearing this felt turned towards him with a clearly unimpressed look,as though hearing about them gave her second-hand embarrassment.
Felt:"it's all a complete lie!,they are all just some cheap-skate cowards who don't 'live strong' at all!."
Thats quite the number of alls there.
Subaru:"harsh."
Felt:"you think thats harsh!,it isn't even close to what they should be called!"
A tiny drop of sweat dropped from subaru's fore head,it was but a drop but subaru was more or so afraid of it becoming something more akin to a stream of sweat instead of a simple drop of it.
Not wanting to get in trouble with the neighbouring slum dwellers ,subaru tried to to find a way to divert the conversation from what it is now.
And when the idea finally came to him like a strike of thunder he heaved a sigh of relief before swiftly following through with the act.
Subaru:"hey felt,are we there yet?."
The most powerful practice in the world!,capable of annoying the living hell out of even aliens!
Felt:"oh,we are,just a turn there and another turn to the left."
Felt hearing subaru's question stopped her rant and pointed towards a turn infront and after doing so she started to walk in that direction,forgetting the content she was spilling out her mouth before.

After awhile both subaru and felt had reached their desired destination...he must say,the home that felt lived in....was less than homey.
Is this even considered a house?,it's more of a tent than a house.
Infront of subaru was a crude tent,no doubt about it being anything else but that.
The tent was held up by four to five wooden planks and a big cloth was layed on top as a fickle imitation of a ceiling,a part of the cloth in it self was left to cover the front but only until it reached atleast more than half the height of the tent,and it was cut into a separate part of the entire cloth,only being attached to the main body up at the top,presumably acting as an entrance.
At subaru's sympathetic look felt strode forward,to enter her tent,and when she was at the entrance she swivelled and faced subaru with a gleaming smile.
Felt:"welcome to my humble abode!"
Wow,i didn't think she was the type to use fancy words like 'abode' like that,but more imprtantly....
Subaru:"humble abode my ass!,if this is humble then it must be on the postive extreme because i can't see how a damn tent like this can be classified as a house! Much less a tent!"
So complained subaru,waving his hands wildly.
After calming down a bit subaru went inside to see how the inside is like as well to get a better idea of the tent as a whole.
Felt who was told to wait outside was looking at subaru's actions curiously.
Felt:"what are you doing anyway?.I don't see the point in checking the inside you know?"
Despite felt's question,subaru stayed silent most probably too focused at what he is doing,and due to the lack of response felt just huffed and pouted.
Yep the inside is crap as well.
Subaru coming out of the tent after thoroughly examining the inside of the tent so concluded.
Subaru:"hey felt,mind helping me out a bit?"
Felt simply gave him a 'fine' and came forward asking him of what they were to do.
Subaru with a smile pointed towards the crude tent with determination.
Subaru:"Were renovating your crude ass tent over there!"
Felt merely nodded.In her opinion it was better off just being sold than being some kind of head cover that does a timid job at being that in it self.
Subaru:"ok,just follow my lead."

After a long while,they had finally finished renovating the crude tent of felt.
The sun had already set and the blanket of night had already encroached upon them.
Heaving and gasping for air,both subaru and felt looked on at their fruits of labour.
The tent was now something that can be called a proper tent.
The width of the tent was increased along with the over all diameter of the tent in all directions.
The top was given a slant instead of just being parallel to ground to avoid getting rain stuck on top and to do this subaru had to shorten the length of the two planks in the front and added it to the ones at the back.the other plank was cut and placed in between the front and back planks.
Due to the lack of actual nails,more or so that they couldn't find many nails around,subaru needed to use some metal parts as replacement along with some actual nails to attach the planks together neatly.
Subaru:"*huff*bob the*huff*builder would be proud."
So stated subaru,sliding his hand on his face to remove sweat.
Felt looked at him with slight awe and after affirming herself that she was not tired now,she stood straight and tapped on subaru's shoulder.
Falt:"i don't know who this bob is but since the word 'builder' is in his name,i'd say we definitely done did him proud."
With a toothy smile and a thumbs up felt told him as such,to which subaru replied with his own pair of smile and thumbs up.
After chuckling a bit,both subaru and felt,tired as they were entered into their non-crude tent.
Inside it every other items of felt's were placed neatly in an orderly manner,subaru was more proud of this fact due to him mostly leaving his room in a state of chaos that even his mother had problems dealing with.
The floor it self was made of wooden planks that were sliced down to smaller sizes and wedged in the tent.
But to do that they should not have any planks left....so without a choice they might have had to steal from another house.
Felt eyeing the floor and subaru,giggled lightly before giving him a toothy grin.
Felt:"what is it bro?,i thought ye'r mom 'imprinted' into you that you should never steal right?,what would mom think!"
Without caring for felt's words,more or so actually ignoring them than not caring,subaru fell on top of a small bed like cushioning face first.
Turning upwards to face felt,subaru with a cheeky grin began to speak.
Subaru:"say felt,you were a good cushion for me when i fell down how about i become a cushion for you now?,as repayment for your soft cushioning."
So teased subaru,with the most prideful and evil grin ever.
Oh he found this to be the single most satisfying payback in his entire life!
Felt reeled backwards with a beet red face,trying to stifle down the blush that had taken over the entirety of her facial features.
Subaru:"Come on felt,big bro subaru already helped you with your house so why not accept this simple repayment that i'm giving you?"
Subaru further teased,his senpaku eyes adding on to the grin he wore gave his entire facade basis as his face was completely lecherous.
Subaru's enjoyment was on another scale it self,he was simply euphoric.
Stammering her words felt receded away from subaru with her bed cushion until she was at the far end of subar's opposite side.
Felt:"s-stop teasing me yo-you perv!"
Saying so,felt fell on her bed,turned away from subaru,covered herself with a blanket and promptly decided to ignore the booming sound of laughter coming from subaru.
Subaru:"Ha!ha!hahahahahahah!."
His laughter only increased in volume when he saw felt glance at him cautiously.
Felt:"i'm telling Rom!"
Subaru:"ha!ha!ha*cough*urgh!*cough*,what!?."
Wait!,i was seriously only teasing!.
I am not into children damn it!!!!!!!

In the morning,both felt and subaru awakened, went to the loot house again after getting ready.
Though the getting ready part was less than actually getting ready,since both slept in their normal clothing and the fact that they didn't actually have anything else to wear,it was more or so felt taking her knife and subaru doing his radio callisthenics,which felt found weird but decided to join in since it looked fun.
At the loot house both felt and subaru were greeted by old man rom and after rom offered them yet again a watered down milk,which both subaru and felt instantly turned down,they decided to discuss how everything here works with subaru.
Felt:"you betta not forget what ye'r gonna be listening,i had to stop today's stealing trip to help you out."
Saying so felt sat beside rom on the opposite side of subaru,inbetween them was a table and laying on top was breakfast,though it's just some bread,it was still what they were to eat for breakfast.
Subaru instantly chomped down on the bread infront of him,as the hunger finally reached him after he realised that he had not eaten supper yesterday.
Infront,both felt and rom also started eating though in a much more calmer manner as they were used to the type,timing,total amount of eating food.
Subaru:"sho,howyu*gulp*think i should get material for sewing?"
Asked subaru in the midst of eating,after he finished his sentence he once again took another loaf of bread and started chewing it.
To his question,old man rom gulped down a cup of booze with bread and replied.
Rom:"bout that,your in luck kid,a customer just came and he happened ta be in that business and offered to give us the materials and even help ya out in sellin it if he thinks it's good enough."
Hearing this subaru slammed the table with both hands in excitement and stood up,beaming rom with a smile.
Subaru:"Seriously!?,thank you old man!,thanks a bunch!."
Grabbing on to old man rom's hand subaru shook them violently up and down.
Rom:"thanks fer the compliment kid,but seriously calm down fer a bit!"
Listening to rom's words,subaru relented and seated himself to where he was before.
Thank god!,i seriously didn't want them to steal sewing material of all things for me!,do you know how embarrassing it would be!.
Subaru:"So since this guy's a customer,you have to steal something for him?,is that right?"
Felt:"yep.i normally go out to steal stuff by myself but from time to time there are some clients who want things to be stolen,pretty neat right?."
After eating the remaining bread loafs felt had stood up while answering subaru's question.
Felt:"well,Bro you can just stay here and think of what yer gonna make,alright?"
As felt said this and turned around towards the exit,subaru inquisitively looked on at her
Subaru:"um..felt?,where are you going?"
Felt hearing subaru,turned around with a slightly annoyed expression.
Felt:"isn't it obvious?,you need sewing materials right away right?."
Subaru:"ASAP."
Felt:"i'm gonna assume that,that meant 'As soon as possible',then i'd have to finish the job ASAP,so i'm gonna do my job.Don't worry about you learning things though,old man rom will fill you in."
Wow!,that was exactly what ASAP meant!
In the middle of that sentence subaru's thoughts wildly got distracted for a single moment before gaining his correct train of thought back.
As felt said this,subaru only got more confused and stated to felt.
Subaru:"yeah,i understand that and thank you,but do you know what to steal or even from where and whom?."
Felt's cheeks took a light shade of pink from embarrassment and she promptly walked towards rom with a brisky walk,asked him what to steal and ran out the door,which caused both rom and subaru to chuckle slightly.
As the chuckling sounds died down rom turned to face subaru and urged him to be focused.
