Chapter 21 - Chapter 21 – Return of the She-Devil and the Battle of the Elemental Four

The air vibrated with magic as Mirajane stood atop the shattered rooftop overlooking the ruined city.

Her silver hair shimmered wildly, eyes blazing with new fire.

"Take over: Satan Soul," she whispered—a voice both fierce and broken.

With a roar, her form erupted into a demonic silhouette: crimson eyes, long horns curving like flames, wings unfurling behind her.

The city held its breath.

"Fairy Tail… I'm back."

---

Shinra stood beside Erza, Gray, Natsu, and Mira as they approached the massive iron doors of Phantom Lord's fortress.

The elemental storms brewed overhead.

Jose Porla's voice echoed: "Little fairies, you won't survive the Elemental Four!"

But the team stepped forward, undeterred.

Erza's armor gleamed with fiery intensity.

Gray's breath frosted the air.

Natsu's flames crackled, hungry.

Mira's Satan Soul form radiated raw power.

Shinra's eyes sparkled with calculated focus.

---

Inside the fortress, Erza faced Sol, a small-statured earth mage with slippery agility.

Sol twisted his limbs unnaturally, sliding across the stone floor like liquid rock.

Erza's sword clanged against shifting walls.

"Your earth magic is clever," Erza said, "but it won't stop me."

Sol grinned, spraying shards of razor-sharp stone.

Erza danced through the barrage, her swords flashing with deadly precision, cutting through stone and magic alike.

"Not bad," Sol hissed. "But let's see you handle this!"

He twisted his palms, launching a wave of molten rock.

Erza's armor heated, but she pressed forward, delivering a final, crushing blow that shattered Sol's defenses.

---

Meanwhile, Gray faced Juvia Lockser.

Juvia's watery form twisted, attacking with streams of water and tidal waves.

Gray's ice encased water with chilling precision.

"You're strong," Juvia whispered, eyes softening.

Gray noticed, and for a moment, his icy façade faltered.

They exchanged strikes, but gradually, Juvia's water flowed gently—almost protectively—around Gray.

When the battle ended, Juvia lowered her guard.

"I… I've fallen for you, Gray-sama."

Gray blinked, " What?..."

---

Natsu's flames met Totomaru's wild infernos in a blazing clash.

The two fire mages roared, exchanging punches and blasts.

Totomaru's flames burned hotter and wilder, but Natsu's heart never faltered.

"I'm stronger because I fight for my friends!" Natsu shouted.

With a mighty punch engulfed in flames, Natsu sent Totomaru crashing.

---

The heart of the fortress was Mirajane's domain.

Aria, cold and merciless, floated in a tempest of elemental air.

They clashed fiercely—Mirajane's demonic power against Aria's cutting winds.

Aria's attacks sliced through walls and floors.

Mirajane countered with roaring bursts of magic that shook the very foundation.

With a final scream, Mirajane summoned a torrent of dark fire, enveloping Aria and shattering his form.

---

Finally, Shinra met Gajeel.

Gajeel snarled, scales gleaming iron-hard.

"You think you can beat me?"

Shinra's calm smile didn't waver.

Their battle was a blur—metal clashed, energy crackled.

Shinra's cursed technique rendered Gajeel's iron attacks useless.

With a precise strike, Shinra sent Gajeel crashing.

"Not today."

---

With the Elemental Four defeated, the fortress began to crumble.

Fairy Tail gathered, battle-worn but unbroken.

Mira's power glowed bright.

"Thank you," Erza said softly.

Natsu grinned, "We did it."

Shinra stood, eyes sharp, already calculating the next move.

The war wasn't over.

But for now—

They had won.
