At night time...
Annette wasn't able to sleep, she laid down, closed her eyes and thought about the challenge she made and woke up and started to roam in the bedroom, then she sits on her bed and start to observe the blowing of snow breeze from the mountains and noise of the rushing river below the bridge, while observing it, her thoughts brings about the wish to become a doctor and the challenge to become astronaut.
Annette murmured " What have I done?"with hesitation, she closed her eyes with hands in frustration.
Annette's mom walks by her room and finds that she didn't sleep and thinks that "something is disturbing her?? "
"Let's check it out!!".
"Annette...., why didn't you sleep till now?, just now you got recovered from the sickness".
Annette opened her eyes and noticed her mom standing infront of her room doorstep. She opened her arms for Annette to come near her.
Annette came beside "Mom..!!, I'm really struck by a drastic decision I made!! Please help me to choose one among them", with a hesitant tone and hugged her mom.
Her Mom cupped her face "About what dear??", her mom brought her beside the bed seated and made her sit .
"What is the difference between wish and Challenges, Mom? and which one is considered important for life?".
Her mom made Annette sit on her lap looked into the window and said,
"Wishes are your interest, it does not have constant or stable thought, but Challenges are once made it needs to be fulfilled no matter how hard the path is, just try it out till best".
Annette carried her mom's hand and started to narrate the whole incident that happened at school.
"Mom, I challenged and promised the seniors of my school, that one day I will go to space and give them Mars sand as a token of remembrance!!, but my wish is to become a doctor".
Her mom carefully listened to her and said
"Look Annette.., your wish to become a doctor is your interest, Let me tell you one thing!, Whether you choose Doctor or Astronaut or whatever job you do in future, first you should have the interest and involvement, then only you can enjoy your job, without interest, you cannot be able to concentrate on work even for one minute, so think about it and decide".
Annette smiled faintly and nodded.
Her mom laid her on the bed, gave a good night kiss on her forehead and went to sleep.
Annette thought about mom's advice, she closed her eyes, in depth thoughts for which field to choose, after her careful thoughts, She realized Her dream tells about something in a good way or bad way, but also she remembers the shooting star wish, living on this earth to be useful and helpful to each other. She was firm in her decision, that her interest lies only in becoming a doctor to helping out people and with strong mind she opened her eyes looking out through the window to watch the night sky. There she finds no red star but everything white stars.
She somehow felt sad about it "This red star is not stable in its position, it faded away".
Right now Let's not focus on the challenges. My interest is my priority. She went to sleep without any disturbing dreams.
