I looked up from my phone, hearing loud footsteps pass by me. A flash of brown hair and Grey uniform. He ran towards the bubbly girl who's name was....
what was it. She was always with Estevan but I could never remember her name. Something with an A.
Whatever it didn't matter.
I looked at Estevan. Only a bit taller than me, dark brown hair and deep auburn eyes. I noticed him as soon as he came into my class 9th grade. But that was all, just noticed.
He always was reading, or drawing or had his headphones blasting.
In 2 years I could never approach him. This year will be different. I'll be his friend.
Suddenly hands on my shoulders pulled me back and almost to the ground before I caught myself.
"Who the-"
"Warren! Heyy, ready for the new year" Silas said with a smile. Emily and Roy were close behind.
"Jeez dude you scared the crap out of me" I laughed "Ha, yeah ready as I'll ever be. Hope we get good teachers"
We all started walking (very fast, we were late) to school.
"I hope we dont have mr thomas" Emily shuddered.
"Yeah, I heard hes the worst" Roy chimed in.
"You guys would know your teachers if you checked your emails..." Silas added.
I rolled my eyes "Who is doing all that dude"
He sighed as we made our way to the building with the huge brown lettering.
