Chapter seventeen
Rylene arrived at a very lively club at the outskirts of city A. She walked towards the entrance but the bouncers guarding the entrance blocked him.
"Who are you?" One of the bouncers holding a tablet asked.
"Raven Nocturne," Rylene answered calmly.
The bouncer scrolled on the tab and found the name in one of the VIP's. He moved and provided space for him to enter. Rylene walked in then stopped and turned to the bouncer.
"I am new here. Could you perhaps tell me why tonight is so Lively?" Rylene said then fished out an obsidian card carrying a hundred million in it.
The bouncer saw the card and his eyes lit up. He looked around to see if anyone is watching then told her to follow him. They went to a secluded place.
"The owner of the club is here tonight so only specific people are allowed in. It is said that there will be an auction here by very very very rich people. I could take you to the person inviting the rich people in the auction," the bouncer said.
"What is your name?" Rylene asked.
"Theo Bradford," the bouncer answered respectfully.
"Take this as your first allowance. If you have more info, do tell me and you will be having more of this cards," Rylene said then smiled.
Theo took the card excitedly.
"Please follow me, Mr. Nocturne," he said then walked ahead.
Inside the club was dark and loud. There were so many people. Some dancing, some drinking and others cheering. Theo led her to the bar stand and told her to wait there.
Rylene turned to the bartender.
"What is the most expensive drink tonight?" She asked.
"What would you prefer? Whiskey? Cognac? champagne or perhaps rum?" the bartender asked.
"Whiskey?"
"Isabella's Islay, priced at around 5.64 million euros,"
"Good. Give me the whole bottle,"
"As you wish sir," the bartender said then went to another room. Rylene took out her phone and plugged in her EarPods.

The bartender returned back to Rylene. Rylene looked at him.
"Apologies sir. Your request will be fulfilled in a moment. Do you perhaps want another drink?" he said
"I don't drink. That was just a collection that i have been putting up in the recent days," Rylene said casually as she was going through something at her phone.
'HE IS A BIGSHOT! To think that he would use money casually for a mere collection! He is definitely rich. I have to make connections with him,' the bartender thoughts.
Rylene smiled casually.
'This guy is just an open book. It is funny how us humans get easily swayed by the power of money'.
