Chapter 72 Writer's POV
As time went on, Onyi started behaving strangely. Anything he touched began to burn or wither away. People in the palace and the pack started becoming scared of him, whispering about his connection to darkness. Amanda was the only person who supported Onyi through this ordeal.
The king was against Onyi and Amanda, pushing for Onyi to be isolated or banished. All pack members sided with the king, fearing Onyi's growing darkness. The queen tried talking to her husband about mercy for Onyi, but he didn't listen. Instead, he kept hurting her emotionally with his coldness toward their concerns.The better truth is the king isn't himself, he's been control by Mali,his lover.
In the secure chambers
Onyi was deeply hurt about the things happening to him, people ran away from him. "Amanda what's happening to me" he whispered staring at Amanda in pain. "Baby calm down, nothing will happen to you" Amanda tried to reassure him. He pushed her away "You are lying to me,I'm evil" he shouted at his older mate. Amanda lips quivered "No my love, you are not, you are not evil."
Tears rolled down her eyes as she explained. "Stay away from me,go away,I'm evil" Onyi sobbed as he cuddled himself . Amanda tried walking up to comfort him but he warned "Leave me alone, let me be." Amanda bolted out, with beads of tears, falling down.
