A honk bellowed behind him, a van approached speedily. He drove out of its path quickly enough to narrowly escape a fatal accident.
Nevertheless his mind wasn't on his life, it was on his sister's. He zoomed at the direction the car went, hoping to see it as, he was sure the car would be somewhere exiting the area.
His bike blurred like a ghost in the wind, carefully dodging portholes and vehicles alike. ' God, what have I done, ' he thought to himself as the guilt bore down on him.
The short abrupt asphalt driveways felt long to him, each turn filled his mind with hope, just to dash it almost instantly. Sound and colour bent around him as his mind starting breaking.
Minutes of riding and he still saw no signs of the abduction vehicle. Hope soon started felling like a distant dream. Finally he exited Red hollows and was into the main road.
Signs littered everywhere, giving directions to different districts, streets and avenues. That though wasn't on his periphery, he observed the busy road and his heart dropped.
With all these cars, how would he find the exact one, tears weld up in his eyes. For a moment he felt weakened, ' What will I tell mother and Jason ' he thought.
In a world like this once a person went missing, it was over, you might never see that exact person again. ' Let me go ransack the Hollow ' he thought, maybe the car must have stopped there.
However as he ignited his bike engine, he spot something from afar, dark blue and sleek. Just like the exact car which abducted his sister. Speedily driving towards the flyover.
It went further and further still, but now Kalen followed.
Crossing the main road will Lady luck's scarf, he zoomed after the Nashee which slowly disappeared into the night. His speed increased as he got closer up.
His left hand held the twist grip throttle, his right sank into his pocket and was fitted in a pair of brass knuckles. The road got busier, he calmed his mind as he had seen the car therefore he rode more carefully.
Doing a wheelie, he swirved through cars and got directly besides the car. The driver looked over at him, he responded with a punch with his brass knuckles which cracked the car's glass.
Punching again brought the glass of its extremity of longevity. The car swirved erratically as the driver couldn't comprehend what was going on, but Kalen followed closely.
He got closer and delivered the final punch, which tore through the glass and stuck the driver's face. Disoriented the driver narrowly escaped a few nasty accidents.
The car drove to the pedestrian walkway where it crashed on the railings of the flyover, blocking the walkway and coming to a halt.
Kalen parked few meters away on the same walkway, he avoid the gazes of the dazed pedestrians. His eyes locked on a glass bottle lying besides a homeless fellow.
Getting hold of the bottle, he hurled it at his first target; his projectile met the driver's head. It shattered into a thousand pieces on impact, knocking the boy out.
From his jacket pocket, he retrieved a pocket knife and charged at the two teens who were exiting the vehicle. Both staggered, dazed and couldn't comprehend what was going on, so Kalen seized the opportunity.
The closest boy got grabbed, his face pummeled brutally by the force of the brass knuckles over and over again. Each punch drawing blood and leaving an injury.
With each punch, the boy who leaned on the car slowly slid down to the ground. When the boy's head rested on the passenger seat window.
Kalen decisively stuck him straight on the nose, again in the eye, finally on the nose. This broke the second window glass of the car, it hung the boy's head on the window.
A full sensation spread through Kalen's neck as a bat hit him recurrently. Not letting that persist, Kalen fended against an attack with his right arm, then delivered a quick jab with his left.
The force of the punch, amplified by the brass knuckles, stunned the boy and made him lower his bat. Kalen slashed at him with the knife in his right hand, strongly resisting the urge to stab.
Another slash followed at the boy's upper arm, immediately a powerful blow came after that. Kalen front kicked him on his abdomen and ran his pocket knife across the boy's chest.
The boy hit the car and dropped to his knees with his palms on the ground, whereby Kalen picked up the bat and finished him off with two heavy strikes to the back of the head.
Wiping the blood on his weapons, he advanced to the car, kicked the abdomen of the boy who was still hanging on the car's window.
He opened the door and dragged his sister by the hair out of the car, " No Dylan… I can't cheat on Mark. " She grumbled subconsciously.
*Ugh*, Kalen exclaimed slapping her across the face so hard she passed out, he then carried her to his bike. Placed her in front of him, with that he reversed and left the scene with three half dead bodies bleeding out with multiple injuries.
Driving straight home he parked his bike, carry his sister on his shoulder and calmly walked into the dark hollow house. His mother must have gone to bed.
He walked over to the room he and Mavlin shared and dropped her on her before proceeding to the sitting room, then outside the house entirely.
The destination in mind unknown to all but him.

Two teens dressed in pristine suits sat calmly at a smart majestic office. The tanned skin teen with silky flowing black hair couldn't stop shifting uncomfortablely.
" No need to be anxious Kal, I will do the talking " Michael reassured, " It's just, I haven't been into anywhere this fancy " Kalen replied admiring the grandeur of the head office.
Paintings and portraits of ancient times were hung on the walls. A huge chandelier swayed above them. The tiling had a unique design.
The owner of this workspace had to be a reader as two shelves stood opposite each other across the room.
While still studying the place, the room door flung open and two people walked in. " Yes, send a text to Edward, telling him to prepare PDFs for the Grimcut Warrens project " a female voice said.
Stopping Kalen from turning, Michael whispered into his ear, " Stay calm and professional this is our only chance, and remember this is Lucia's distance relative. "
At the mention of Lucia's name, Kalen's anxious demeanor turned calm and serious, not the most subtle of smiles could be found on it.
A woman, probably in her mind thirties took the owner's seat elegantly, she had white skin, a pretty face, pear shape and feminine stature. She wore moderate make up, the one to make Kalen sigh when he remembered his sister.
Her Asian attendant stood calmly behind her, her expression unreadable. However her attendee stared daggers into the duo.
" To what do I owe the pleasure, young men " she said in a professional tone, clearing his throat, Michael pronounced in a braggart manner, " We are here for the biggest deal in all of history. "
