After danzo had his childish outburst, he asked his remaining root operative's "did you find out why tsunade stays within that compound and why there is such a strong person within this village".
"Yes, that person is extremely strange, we had gotten news of his arrival and he came back, with a woman of unknown origin" "unknown" danzo placed his hand on his chin, as if thinking about what to do.
The root operative nodded before continuing "but, we've also gotten news about some abilities of that man" "go on" danzo narrowed his eye towards him.
"He has the ability to fly and is extremely fast, that's all the information about him so far, as for the people living within the compound, some of our root, have found children, suggesting they're his offspring" "I see, keep watch from a distance, I have a suspicion for the attack lies with him" his voice became hoarse, with annoyance.
And when the root heard this, they dispersed leaving only three people within in base.
"What do you two think", danzo stared at his two most trusted subordinates fū and torune.
Fū didn't say anything, but torune did "I suggest, staying a distance away from this group, less something were to backfire".
Danzo almost fell out of his chair hearing this, [stay away, they've destroyed multiple bases.] Instead of ousting torune he rubbed his chin again "you're right, going after them right now would lead to no results, leave me be".
Danzo waved his arm and the two disappeared "mark my words tsunade, even if you're the hokage, don't expect me to take this without throwing my hands back".
(Also unbeknownst to kuraiya, he had killed sai, ino's future husband in his attempt to rid himself of 'danzo the cockroach'.)

Kuraiya was seen, sitting in the bathroom on the toilet with his hands resting on his chin.
"This place is my only safe haven, that beast is too difficult to beat, if only I had a infinite supply, I would be the dominant one" his face was showing a look of defeat, fear and grief.

[Danzo and his crones should've been dealt with for now, but that cockroach manages to always slip away, his entire life not once has he done anything good, killed his comrade kagami for his mangekyō, killed off the founders who made the village, he probably even got Tsunade's brother killed too, all cause he wanted to be hokage, don't get me started with the rain village, the guy's a walking catastrophe.]

"Yup" he stood up, walked over to the door but his hand froze midway, when his hand froze at the door knob he decided to go back, to sit on the toilet.
"I should stay here for a bit longer".
Tsunade who was eating in the kitchen sat petrified, "wh.. what's he talking about" her eyes became a little dull and she dropped the food she was about to eat.
Shizuka who was sat down near her, spoke up after seeing her expression "are you alright, I'm sure kuraiya is only letting out his frustration, you don't have to take it seriously".
Tsunade frowned while she was muttering "did he do it" she turned her gaze to the place she hid the dragon balls.
Shizuka saw she wasn't listening and could only sigh inwardly [I should probably not get involved with this one.]
"I'll wait, I'm sure that dragon will give me the answers I want" "dragon?" Tsunade smiled at shizuka "it's nothing, if danzo really did do it, I will kill him with my own hands".
Shizuka shivered and responded with worry "we should leave it to kuraiya, he'll handle him".
"Tch, I'm sure he would, but if I get the chance, I'd rather just lock him up till I've gotten the results, I'd rather not get involved after all".
"Uhm, what're you two talking about" kurenai came into the kitchen with cumber who was constantly fidgeting (let go of me woman) "stop it!".
Both of shizuka and tsunade started laughing "he's really only for kuraiya huh?" Kurenai's mouth clenched hearing tsunade say that.
"Don't even get me started, the only one who is good, is shizuka's kid, the rest are trouble maker's" tsunade was about to retort angrily before another entered.
"Oh, you guy's are all here" terumi walked over, without any care, "don't mind me, since everything is already on the table, don't mind if I do".
"That seat is for Anko, ah" tsunade stared intently at terumi, who just sat down in the chair she was saving for Anko, "what? No one's here except for us".
"That's not the point, that seats for her" both terumi and tsunade stared at each other as if two cat's were about to have a heated battle for territory.
Cumber at this moment jumped out of Kurenai's arms and flung himself towards the table.
"Ahh! You.. what do you think you're doing, get back here" kurenai shouted angrily, and to everyone surprise the little guy, was eating the food.
Cumber ate the food on the table, looked at tsunade, then reached out to grab the food on her plate.
The entire group just watched this with amazement.
Cumber after eating all the food, curled up into a ball and went asleep.
"Uh, how old is he" terumi spoke up bewildered at the scene, kurenai walked over and picked him up before saying "he's a few months old".
"What? But he looks like he's almost two" terumi's eyes went wide, staring at the boy in Kurenai's arms.
Tsunade snorted with arrogance "what do you expect he's kuraiya's child" she was trying to act smug, but terumi felt even more inclined to have a child now.
Tsunade seeing terumi show a strange smile, felt even more annoyed and was about to speak up again.
"Tsunade, did you hear what kuraiya just said, this village is in a big mess with this danzo, hehehe" terumi covered her mouth laughing, while she was staring with mockery at tsunade.
Tsunade clenched her fists tightly, "hmph, it was the third who allowed such things to happen, not me".
"Yes, and you're to clean up his mess, how ironic" Tsunade's face was growing ferocious hearing her mocking tone.
Just as she was about to throw a punch at terumi, kurenai butted in "can't you two just go in separate rooms, you're like mortal enemies, plus are you guy's seriously going to start a fight with the kids around".
"Tch, fine" "sure, I wasn't planning on it anyway" tsunade leaned back on the chair and the atmosphere finally settled down then terumi crossed her legs smiling at tsunade.
Kurenai seeing them glaring at each other, felt exasperated [those two, might actually cause a lot of problems, hopefully kuraiya sorts it out soon.]

Konan who was standing by the side of pain (nagato) had her brows furrowed, [so danzo almost died and is still causing chaos, he deserves to die by my hand.]
"What's wrong" pain who was seated on a high throne was expressionless, but he had seen konan gripping her hands with a strange gaze, so out of concern let out his words.
"It's nothing, just thinking about danzo" "hmph, he'll die one day, I've already told you, I'll get revenge for yahiko" pain spoke with authority and konan nodded before thinking about, what this person looks like, that she keeps hearing in her mind.
She also had thoughts to secretly see him, [maybe, he'll help with the Akatsuki goals, if not, I'll just have to tell nagato about how dangerous this person is.]

Kuraiya finally decided to leave the bathroom, but he didn't leave normally, he used his speed and disappeared entirely, then appeared in a different room.
"This spot should do" he entered a room for guest's, a place no one will enter till the morning, especially if someone is looking for him at that time.
He lay down on the bed staring at the ceiling in a daze, "huh? Why's there a bump" he lifted up the covers and saw shizune sleeping.
"Since when did she move in" he rubbed his chin and thought out loud "it was probably tsunade, well whatever, this place is a safe haven" he got under the cover's and decided to sleep.

Early in the morning.

"Ah!" Kuraiya stirred awake hearing the noise, he turned slightly to the sound, and saw shizune with wide eyes.
"Be quiet" kuraiya frowned and covered himself back into the cover's.
Shizune felt out of place "why? Why are you in here" she spoke in a low voice and kuraiya retorted "of course it's because.. it's because this is the guest room" he almost let slip his shame, but he didn't want others to hear him say it.
"Huh?"
